he was too afraid; to live, to die, to drown, to breathe, to feel and to stay numb. he was so, so scared. he wanted to feel free, make his own decision, just once.

he was tired; of changing every part of himself to fit in, of every person who told him how imperfect he was and how he needed to do better.

he brought back his foot and stepped back from the ledge. he didn't have anyone other than himself. he had nothing to lose. so why couldn't he just do it? he didn't have any reason to stay.
