they spent the next hour talking about anything and everything, to their music taste to their favourite food and worst experiences at family gatherings.
it all seemed too happy. too cheerful. they knew they had to die, and die together — after finding such solace in each other, they both knew they couldn't let go of each other.
three hours of meeting and they had made such a deep connection. attachment issues, they both laughed at themselves as they continued stargazing and talking.
and though they were happy, they knew they had to die, because happiness is temporary, it never lasts.
