„Girl you really need to get yourself together.
First you did it with our coach and now with
Our professor? I told you to pop off after your break up but I didn't thought it would reach to this point." Beth answered after I explained her what happened last night.
We where sitting on my balcony drinking our coffee with a small breakfast.

„I know. I know. Everything was a mistake.
I don't know what drove into me honestly. I don't usually do this i feel like a mess."
I replied while rubbing my eyes out of tiredness.

„What are you gonna do now?" she asked me and I was about to ask the same question.

„I have no clue. Never attending college again sounds nice. Pack my things and leave to Europe. Leave everyone behind change my life upside down and never look back."

„Okay. That was a bit exaggerated dial it down a bit Miss Lewis. How about you get your mind clear if you feel anything for the two gorgeous women."

„I mean Scarlett is great don't get me wrong.
But she gave off the feeling that it was just physical interaction and that was all. With Lizzie it's different. She is a really great and caring person.
But who am I kidding. This will never happen."

I hate to break it to you but first of she's almost married. Second she is my professor and third I am a simple student. I can't give her anything."

„Well you should start by being less pessimistic bestie. People always split up even married people and people who are only engaged that doesn't have to mean anything. You have more to give than you think."

„Come on B. It was a one night stand. We both where drunk as hell. She was emotional when she arrived at my doorstep. I don't think she is ever gonna be with me or even consider it." I huffed out while leaning back into my chair trying to enjoy the sun that was shining above us.

„I remember how you started off hating her because she was so mad at you for being late to class and now you guys fucked and that's a huge development." she laughed and I couldn't help but chuckle as well.

„I know. I would have never thought about an outcome like this. It's crazy. I was really not enjoying the way she acted towards me but she actually apologized and I think she just had a bad day or so. It happens to the best of us right?"

„Of course it does. I remember when you had your bad days. You'd be way rougher at training but the coach let you and she even took advantage of that in the Games."

„Yeah. I tend to let out my anger in sports and this is probably a bad habit."

„Oh no it's not a bad habit. I think it's just bad if you do team sports. If you let the anger out while doing sports on your own, that would be fine."

„Yeah. How is training going by the way? Since the captain is missing?" I asked and she rubbed her eyes.

„We need You and it shows. It's like one puzzle piece is missing and nothing works anymore.
Can't you just come to training? Your dad can't suspend you the whole time!" she replied frustrated and angry and I can totally understand her.

„I mean I can tag along today. It's been almost a week. I'm sure my father forgets me already. And we have an important play this weekend."

„Exactly. He won't notice for sure. It's not like he was ever a father to you."

„He never was and I don't think he ever will be.
But I'm not the one who runs after his approval and attention. I did it Years ago and I realized with time that this isn't right."

„I know. You deserve better." she stroked my hand softly and I nod giving her a half smile.

„Yeah. We should probably head out for training."
