penelope ellis was not new to hawkins. she knew all the things that happened. will and barb going missing, hawkins's lab, and the russins. but this time it was different.
penelope was always envious of eddie munson. he was so confident and didn't care what anyone thought of him. and to say the least, penelope had a little crush on him. so when he went missing, she needed to help him (and the fact that she was friends with robin).

-she walks into the (very end) of the dnd game where everyone is cheering and says the description line. (she is there to pick up dustin)

-penelope is dumb. not are really dumb way just not smart enough. kind if the 'dumb blonde' but she's not blonde
-thinks dustin is just the sweetest thing ever
-i kind of want her to stick with eddie at skull rock. like let's say she was going to drop off some food when the basketball gang came so she hid with him
