Ivy POV:

Today is a very special day. The day we would finally find out the gender of our baby. I had scheduled an appointment for my 15 week scan today as Max would leave for Austria tomorrow.

About 2 weeks ago I revealed the news to my family and their reactions weren't the best to be honest. But it was expected to be like that. My sister,who already knew from before was definetly the most supportive out of all. Lewis's reaction was definetly something i want to forget

"You are WHAT? Ivy you can't be serious. But who is the father anyway? Please don't tell me what I think it is"- Lewis started yelling while being shocked from what I had just told him

"Lewis please calm down. And I don't know who it is. I once got passed out drunk in a club and thats when it probably happened. I have no other ideas"- I completely lied there cause no way I would tell him the truth now. Maybe i should've,but I was scared of his reaction,as it already wasn't really good

"Ivy this is a huge thing and you are acting like it's something completely normal and you are so relaxed for some reason"- He then continued with his speech

That speech probably lasted a good thirty minutes until my mom had came by to visit in Lewis's house. And she immediately noticed something was off so I explained her everything. Her reaction wasn't the best,but she was definetly more calm than Lewis was.

About 2 weeks later,now they are actually more calm and supportive about it now that their brains have finally processed everything. But it still wasn't the best,as I caught Lewis giving Max some deadly eye stares during the French Grand Prix weekend,which Max had noticed and he also told me about it,but we couldn't do anything about it and just went on with it.

Back to real time,now I finally got dressed and was ready to meet up with Max so we can finally leave to the doctor.Mabel was probably even more excited than me as she was already in the auntie spirit.

About gender predictions it was all mixed. Mabel was 100% sure it was a boy while Oakley took her bet on a girl. My mom and step dad also think it's a girl. Bianca was sure it's a boy. Lewis was pretty positive for a boy aswell. Speaking of me and Max,we didn't really care about the gender. However,i knew that Max was secretly hoping for a boy cause I know it would mean so much to take him karting and maybe,just maybe continue with the Verstappen name in F1 in the future.

When we finally met with Max,we immediately went in his car and drove to the doctors office as we were already running late. When we got there we apologised for being late and then we finally got inside of doctor Cameron's room.

"Soo,if you guys want me to,i can tell you the gender,since i can definetly see it clearly"- She assured us while you could see she was very excited to tell us the news

"Oh,yes please. We have been waiting long enough for it"- I spoke in excitement as i couldn't wait any longer

"Well in that case,i can happily tell you that you two are expecting a boy!"- Cameron replied with a huge smile forming on her face

A boy. I couldn't hold in my tears anymore as i let some of them roll down my cheeks. I probably got too emotional that moment. I turned my head towards Max and I noticed he was about to drop some happy tears aswell. Then dr Cameron left the room so she could give us some alone time

"A boy. Can you believe it"- i spoke to Max as I was really crying of happiness now

He then placed a kiss on my lips as he spoke some nice words. At that moment I couldn't be happier
