My heart shattered beyond belief
I clutched my chest, as if I could yank my beating heart out
Screaming silently to myself
As I let out a heaving sob
Falling to my knees
Crying because of who I once was
Is now dead
Broken
Gone
As if I never existed;
Only remembered by me
My existence
Severed from the world
Denied
Just a memory of myself
