Amber +Will

Amber is a 22-year-old Minecraft and Sims 4 streamer who has around 2m followers on a twitch and 3.5m on YouTube. Amber was born in London and moved to Brighton at age 18. She had a long-distance relationship at the age of 19 before they realised it wouldn't work and they broke up. After that, the only relationships she has maintained are the ones with her coworkers, regular customers, roommate and YouTubers whose only conversations are about numbers and analytics, which is nothing that she understands anyway. And her cat, Hestia, if her cat counts. She named her cat after the Goddess Hestia, which is the goddess of domestic life, the flame that kept a family's house warm. Her roommate Jack Manifold moved in with her two months ago. His close friend Niki visits frequently. Niki and Jack both love Hestia. Amber likes Niki and would count her as a friend, she's kind and loving towards Jack which is good enough for Amber. But the only form of loving feelings she's ever felt since is for cute people she saw in the café and random people on Pinterest. The bookshop is a great place to scout out different people and see if they're interesting based on their purchases but it always hurts a bit to see a good-looking person buy a bad book. And a bad book isn't a badly written or distasteful one but instead a book based on a 'turn off' topic.

Once she saw an attractive woman and immediately went to her stereotypical checklist to check if the woman wasn't all that straight. The woman was wearing doc martins, a check flannel over her turtleneck and a beanie. Amber thought there was a good enough chance, the woman went straight to the fantasy section. That's Amber's favourite section, she likes to read it to escape her mundane life and instead live with elves, fairies and dragons but the woman's choice in books ruined Amber's daydream. The Lady placed 3 books out of the Harry Potter series on the desk and Amber's heart sank she doesn't want to sell any more jk Rowling books than have already been sold. Contributing to any money that woman gets is always upsetting. But she scanned the woman's items bagged them and gave them back disappointed in the purchase. But enough about her uneventful love life. Onto Will's.

Will is a 24-year-old Minecraft streamer who has 3.5m followers on twitch and 5.6m subscribers on youtube. Will also lives in Brighton and also is incredibly lonely when it comes to love. It sounds upsetting but it's true if you've heard any of his songs you know quite a lot about his love life already. His recent love life hasn't been that different from his depressing teen romance songs. Much like Amber, he spends his time people-watching and fantasising about random people's lives imagining random stories about them. It sounds slightly creepy but Will is just extremely bored most of the time. Apart from streaming and creating music he spends a lot of his time in libraries, bookshops and music shops. Recently, he moved further from the seaside and now lives closer to the city side of Brighton.

He lived near the beach side of Brighton for years until the smell of freshly cooked doughnuts and salty water made him feel sick. It's pretty impossible to believe that the nice smells of the seaside can make you feel ill but after years of seagulls, screaming children and the apartment fire alarm that went off at least once every week, he had to get away. So for the last few weeks, he's been living in his new apartment and trying to get used to his new surroundings, trying to find a good hangout spot since his old chilling spots were too far away to visit frequently. Tommy is like Will's little brother and since Will moved, he lives closer to him so at least being around completely new things he has someone to rely on. Someone that he knows, trusts and sincerely appreciates like a brother, sort of like Amber's relationship with her cat apart from her cat won't tell everyone a secret you told them and will stop making noise at some point, unlike Tommy.

The story begins as Amber gets the tweets releasing the MCC teams, last year she was accepted into MCC she was ecstatic but due to poor connection issues and bugs it was cancelled but luckily her MCC spot was solidified after her online friendship with quackity became wildly broadcasted. They only commented on each other's streams, raided each other and posted featuring each other but never made content with each other but that was enough to boost her platform and get others to interact and get excited to hear that she was accepted into MCC so she couldn't wait to see what team she was in and how others reacted. She and Quackity chatted a few times on discord, just about streams and content-based conversations. She would consider him her friend. Her stupid streamer friend.
