You were at Eddie's house watching a film you sat in between his legs as he leans on the wall
"Hey y/n, you know we've never actually been on a date" you turned to look at him
"That's true why?"
Tomorrow did u wanna go out like out, out to a restaurant and stuff"
"Yes ofc"
There's a summer ball on in a couple days time I'll see if we can get in if you want"
"Oh my gosh yes. I love you"
"Y/n Munson I love your forever " he kissed you on the head and continued playing with your hair. He often did that now called you y/n Munson. He'd often take off his rings and put it one your finger to look like an engagement ring. He rested his hands over your head on your stomach while you leant back on his chest. It was perfect but you were constantly reminded of your betrayal with Steve so far Eddie suspected nothing but the guilt was an unimaginable pain. But you had to forget it anyway a summer gala wow and you had the perfect dress it was going to be the perfect night. Perfect
The night of the gala came Eddie was picking you up at 7 and it was 6:30 now you were almost ready just finishing your makeup you walked out your room to look at mirror in the hall way Toby walked out of his room and stopped pulling off his headphones around his neck
" wow" he said you smiled at him even that small words meant a lot coming from your brother you wore Eddie's ring and a silver necklace.
Eddie arrived in his car and came to your door in a black and white suit he look amazing his hair was down but brushed and just looked neater somehow but you preferred his way either way The suit fitted perfected you don't know how but you fell in love with him even more. He kept his hands behind his back like a gentlemen you knew he wasn't but he adored it anyway

Eddie POV
I took my time preparing for the gala as I wanted this night to be as perfect as her, y/n, the love of my life. As I stepped into her house I watched her as he gracefully glided down the stairs revealing herself in a red dress. It fitted her around her waist perfectly her hair was in a different style which I love and she more somehow more beautiful then the day my lips touched hers. The dress had red rhinestones at the top and spread out at the bottom it was perfect. Like her.

Y/n POV
You saw him look at you in aw as you came down the stairs
"Hi" you said trying to hide the excitement
"You look unbelievable" he said smiling
You couldn't help blush "as do you, such a gentleman" you said laughing slightly.
He looked down and smiled. He pulled out from behind him a small box
"I have something for you" he said opening it revealing a ring with a red Ruby on a silver ring. You gasped "omg Eddie it's gorgeous"
"Not as beautiful as you" he took the ring out of its box and you saw what was engraved on the inside "E+y/i I love you forever
Your face lit up and you heart skipped a beat
"Will you wear it tonight?"
"Yes of course! I love it, I love you"
He gently took your hand and placed it on your finger. Perfect.
You wrapped your arms around him and he lifted you up both smiling. You kissed his again and again.
"Now shall we go" Eddie said
"Yes let's"
He held out arm out which you took
"Thank you kind sir" you said in a posh voice
"Wait wait wait" your heard Toby say "you can't go out looking like that and not get a picture"
"Alright fine but quickly" you said you take a couple one of you both smiling, one of you looking at each other, and a last one of him kissing. You on the cheek. Toby smiled ok of you go have fun bye sounding like a typical mother. You smiled and took your phone back in the car you looked at the pictures they were amazing you loved them. You showed the last one to Eddie he looked at it and smiled "stunning as always sweetheart"
"I know you are" you replied, he gave you a look. "Darling you know I meant you"
"And u know I think the same about you" "now shut up and keep your eye on the road idiot" you said laughing.
