Rose could not see who my kidnaper was. They both were standing very close that they could feel each other's breath. All she could see were light green eyes.
She had seen these eyes before! Then it clicked to her, the kidnaper was none other than Tom Riddle !
He slowly backed away revealing a beautiful room, with many shelves with books, and a beautiful glass shandler on the ceiling in between, there were two armchairs near a fireplace. Rose hated to admit but she was in awe of the beauty of the magnificent room.
" You must be wondering where and why are you here?" Tom said with fake sincerity in his voice
" This must be the Room of Requirement," she said while looking at her surroundings, In her 3rd year, she found this room while she was roaming on the seventh floor.
"How did you know about this" He questioned suspiciously as Rose was a new transfer, and there was no chance she could know about this
As Rose looked at Tom's confused face she quickly lied "I read about this in a book in the library"
" Yes, why don't we sit here for a while" Tom indicated at the armchairs near the fireplace
Rose sat down on one of the armchairs and glared at Tom
" Why am I here Riddle?" she questioned
" How and where did you learn to duel with that?" he inquired without answering her question
" Ohh, so that is why I am here. My parents were both great duellers, and I mastered the art myself." Rose played along
Tom was relieved that she was not a muggle-born, otherwise, it would have been a disgrace to duel with someone like those filthy creatures
" You are quite powerful yourself but remember this Norman, do not cross my way again" He demanded with a glare
If it was anyone else they would have peed in their pants by now, but again Rose was not just anyone.
" You are just jealous and scared because now you have found that someone as powerful and intelligent as you, an equal." She taunted
" Watch your tongue Norman. I am Tom Riddle and I don't get scared " Tom snapped and glared at her
" I think acceptance is not in your nature Riddle," Rose said as she smirked
"Lions and Tigers both rule the jungle, but both know their place," Tom remarked
" Nah, I beg to disagree, They both rule it together and know and accept that both of them are equal" She continued
" Are you suggesting that we should work together?" He asked and raised his eyebrows
This was the moment Rose was waiting for a long time when she gets to know about Tom Riddle and his dirty secrets. It was better as Tom was asking himself.
" Yes, we both are powerful and equal. Now the whole school knows it, I think the duel is going to be the talk of Hogwarts for a long time." She suggested
" We both better get accustomed to tolerating each other" Tom implied
He hated her the second he saw her but knew that she was powerful, by gaining her trust he could use her for his future plans. So he decided to fool one more person at Hogwarts.
But they both didn't know that this was either their life's biggest mistake or the best decision they ever made in their lives.
" I think we should" Rose agreed
" It's time for my potion class" Rose stood up to leave but turned her head toward Tom and him smirking
" I hope so your friends are fine in the Hospital Wing" Now it was her time to smirk as she left, Tom's eyes had a bit of panic but he covered it all with his famous blank expression and his smirk faltered
