"you know i'm right"

"what was that?" i asked jake once i made it up to him, he was sitting on the curve but stood up when her heard my voice

he looked and me and shrugged "what was what?"

is he stupid?

"oh i don't know" i started, putting my hand on my hip "you being a total dick to rooster, why? what was the point?"

hr scoffed at my words " i was not a dick" i gave him a look and he started nodding "maybe i was a little, i just , he was getting on my nerves"

"how? he literally did nothing" i told him, lurking hair behind my ear

"are you taking his side?" he asked me

"no?" i looked at his face and he looked down at me smirking

he leaned down and pressed his lips against mine "i'm sorry" he said

i put my arms around his neck and gave him a hug "drop me off at my house?"

he let me go and nodded, grabbing my hand as we walked to his car "or do you wanna go and get some food"

"yeah let's do that" i got in the passenger seat of his ford f-150 "im starving" i tell him while pouting

he pouted back at me, making fun of me then said "this can be our first date?!"

i laughed at him and nodded " i guess it can"

jake and i laughed at the story of my mom falling and slipping on a wet floor, stupid i know

when jake finished up laughing he said "i miss momma bait"

i smiled at him "bet she misses you too" i tell him "her and dad are coming to town later this week"

"oh really why?" he asked me, i sat my drink down back on the table

"i think my dad has a meeting with iceman, so momma is just taggin along" he nodded at my words

"why does john have a meeting with iceman? is he becoming an instructor again?" he leaned against the booth table

"he's starting to train to be one again" i said "i mean it's been what, 13 years since he last was captain at top gun"

"that a long while ago" he said and i nodded "but in sure he'll get it"

"yep" i liked around the restaurant, it getting dark "so uh, what are we?" i asked him

he ran his hands through his hair "what do you mean?"

i looked at him confused " i mean we had sex last night and like right now we're on a date"

"well what do you wanna be?" he wondered and he had a smirked on my face

i shrugged not knowing what to say so i just huffed and leaned back into the booth

"we should get going" i say "it's getting late"

he nodded and stood up out of the booth and i did the same, he grabbed my hand and held it while walking out of the restaurant

the ride to my place was a silent ride, but it was nice. but also kinda awkward, once we got to my apartment complex

"want me to come in?" he asked, i opened the door and jumped out of the truck then turned to look at him

"and fuck?" i said harshly "i think i'm good"

he looked at me confused "what are you talking about? is that what you think of me?"

" what are we going to do in there then?" i pointed behind me

jake got of his truck and grabbing me arm and pulling me gently to my apartment. he grabbed my keys from my hands and we both entered the home.

he went and sat on the couch, turning on the tv "i was thinking of song this" he pointed at the tv "i'm a normal human too"

i sat next to him and leaned my head on his shoulder "i'm sorry" i told him and kissed his cheek, i threw my legs over him

"it's alright" he squeezed my thigh's "is it to soon to ask you out?"

i laughed and shrugged " i don't know" i lifted up my head and looked him in the eyes "i guess not"

he smiled at me "will you be my girlfriend?" he asked me

i nodded and gave him a kiss "i guess so" i joked and kissed him again

i leaned my head on his shoulder "the office?" i asked me i felt him nod

"let's make sure not to have sex this time" i slapped jakes chest and he laughed
