Over the play ground was Luffy and his friends, and he knows how cool he is, of course like every other kids who look up to their 'king'
While on the other side, a H/C girl was reading a book, until a ball came flying towards her.
And it collided with her head, hard
"IIIITTEEEE!!" She cried as she held her head close
"Wahh! I'm sorry! I- I didn't mean to!" A black haired boy with a straw hat came running to her as a blonde was screaming bloody murder at him while a short friend of his and another friend with a curly hair and long nose grab him back
Her E/C eyes snapped up with rage as Luffy look guilty and bow "I'm sorry! Didn't mean to really!"
This scene made her heart clench as her hand shake. Oh my god, is this...SOMEONE IS APOLOGIZING TO ME?!
"erm... I- it's okay Luffy-san," Her cheeks blossomed with red color as he grinned
"Oh it's okay then, I'll take the ball back hehe," He said as he took the ball but look at her before he walks away "Hey, be my friend"
Her jaw dropped.
The peeking green haired's eyes popped out that they almost left their sockets as his jaw dropped and cracked the floor, and dropped into the center of the earth.
His eyes narrowed as he look at the girl, he'd seen her before, always reading beneath the tall tree and don't talk to anyone, just read.
"That girl..." He became a sea cucumber as he sulks "she's lucky..."

Fast forward, few years later...
"Yyy/Nnn!!!"
Her name rang through the halls as Luffy ran through the said halls
It was the start of another school year and also the end of their high school years.
"Oh, Luffy-san" Y/n said as he grinned
Over the years, she hasn't got rid of her shyness as she always displayed a light blush on her face.
"I heard there's an upcoming dance tomorrow!! It's going to be a feast!!!" Luffy continued grinning as he swung his arms to her shoulder as they walked through the halls, this has become normal too over the years
Danger magnet, food loving, best friend Luffy.
Also in the corridor was the man with green hair, over the years too, he also become friends with Luffy, only that he can't face him while talking to him...
He's blinded by the shining bright light that covered him everytime
And it was true alright, there was an upcoming ball, and he doesn't have a date.
Well, who cares, he just know that Luffy's going.
