Y/N's POV
The three of us were sitting on the bench and waiting near the entrance gate of Main Academy which become our meeting place for our first day as a team.
None of us even dared to start a conversation and just watch the other team have fun while waiting for their mentor to pick them up.
I don't know but it makes me feel that this two never wanted to join any missions from the beginning or wants to be in the same team with me.
"Wow, I wasn't expecting you'll be here on time!", Jinyoung waved his hands at us who just arrived and run towards us
"How's your sleep? Did the three of you even sleep peacefully last night? Or didn't even have enough sleep because you're all excited for our first mission?", Jinyoung asked
"Don't you want to kick me out of your team while you still have a chance to changed your mind?", Jihyo wrote on her sketch pad
What's up with her?
She keep asking the same question since when Jinyoung chose her to be in our team but Jinyoung used to ignore her question.
Does it mean that she wants to be in another team?
***flashback***
I thought it was only me who'll be in the office but stares coming from the other student welcomed me upon arrival.
My eyes roamed the room in search of anyone I might've known and sit next to them but only one person catch my attention.
Unnie.
What the hell?
Jennie and I had an eye contact asking what the hell she's even doing here and she even ask the same question to me.
The staring contest between us were interfered when the headmistress suddenly broke the silence inside her office.
"All of you missed out my announcement because you're absent yesterday but I'm sure some of you already heard the news", as she continued
"Ms. IU will tell you what was the announcement made yesterday for those who didn't know yet", the headmistress signaled her hand for Ms. IU to begin
"To make the story short.. The academy allowed its student to participate in missions in exchange of academic incentives. Mentors are required to form a team consist of three members and will lead them in their journey. Each team must accomplish at least fifteen missions within six months and there will be a special reward for top five teams. You may have the right to refuse and the academy will still provide training every p.e. class only", Ms. IU said
"You have three minutes to decide and the time starts now", Ms. IU pointed at the wall clock which leave us no choice and end up joining without having enough time to think wisely
The headmistress already gave us the permission to get back in our classroom after the sudden decision we'd a few minutes ago.
"and Y/N Kim"
I heard my name right after opening the door of my classroom and saw a guy pointing his left hand at me while holding a book on his right hand.
"Eh?", I stared at him confusedly
"Jihyo Park, Tzuyu Chou, and Y/N Kim welcome to Team 11-F!", the guy suddenly pulled us into him making a group hug
***end of flashback**
"I would like to inform you that there's two type of mission and a level starting from one to ten as the hardest", Jinyoung opened a book and started reading it out
"First, the inside mission which means it must be done inside the Main Kingdom. Inside missions consist of level one to five and I'll discuss it as we go further"
"Second, outside mission which is the opposite of inside it will be done outside the Main Kingdom. Its the continuation of the inside mission starting from level six to ten", as he closed the book and looked at us
"I'll be your mentor and the three of you becomes a team for six months. I'll do my best to guide and develop the best of the best that you can be for yourselves. Also, for the team!", Jinyoung rubbed our heads like a kid
"Sir---"
"Ah! Ah! You should start calling me Senpai and if I'll hear you calling me Sir/Teacher/Professor again then I'll disband our team", he gave us a warning more like a threat which made us gulp nervously
"Let's start! Are you ready?", Senpai Jinyoung asked and the three of us gave him a nodd as an answer
"Our first mission will begin from Level one which is to deliver goods to the requestor's place", Senpai took out a small stone and throw it in the air but the stone turned into a painting
"This painting must be delivered to Mr. William and you have three days to accomplish your mission. Oh! Also, here's the exact address of Mr. William's house and the directions on how you'll arrive there safely", Senpai handed the painting to Tzuyu
"What do you mean by 'you have three days'? Were you excluding yourself from the mission??", Tzuyu raised an eyebrow
Senpai didn't respond on her question and suddenly turned into a stone after saluting us with smile.
"Noice, we're going in a mission without him leading the team", I shook my head in disbelief
"It's not the end of the fucking world even if he's not going to join us for our first mission", Tzuyu rolled her eyes
A moment of silence surround us while Tzuyu and I watch the other team leave with their mentors happily.
It's not jealousy.
It's just that we want to finish the assignment quickly.
Both of us took a glanced at Jihyo who suddenly stole the map from Tzuyu's hand and opened it. She started writing on her sketch pad and showed us what she wrote.
"Maybe Senpai thought we could handle this mission on our own as long as we'll stick together and work as a team", she smiled positively even if I could see a hint of worry in her eyes
"If that's what you think then shall we leave now?", as I looked at them
"Let's go", Tzuyu agreed
