let's live on the moon.
hold my threadbare skin
with your feather touch,
& take me to a place of raw serenity.
let's hop from the stars,
& feverishly spin along the rings of saturn.
allow our hands to cross over,
resembling constellations
as we hum
paradisal thrums.
let us lie
in the celestial lavender valleys,
as the sun's nectar
brings warmth to our bones.
take me to the moon,
or at least gaze at me
with nebula-like eyes,
because that, too, will do.
