"may i ask where is lim miyoo?" mark asked the police officer as seola sat at one of the row of chairs at the back
"are you a guardian or family? if not i am unable to disclose any information"
"we're the victims of the case" mark stated and the officer quickly checked his computer. "names?"
"mr. mark lee and ms. lee seola"
"okay you're IDs have been confirmed. she's currently detained and being questioned"
"okay, we want to talk to her"
"you can, but only after we've completed the interrogation period, she'll be transferred to the holding room in about twenty minutes" mark nodded, understanding as he talked
"i'll bring the both of you to the holding area first" the officer stood up, organising a few papers and files before walking to the holding rooms
mark gestured seola to follow him as she timidly stood up and trailed behind him
fidgeting with her fingers, they sat in silence as mark rubbed circles on the back of her hand
"mark" she called out softly and he let out a hmmmm?
she looked up at him, "when she comes in later... can you leave us alone for awhile?"
"you sure? if that's what you want. but i'll give you guys ten minutes, then i'll come back?" seola could see the worry in his eyes as she nodded her head
knock knock
"she's here.." mark rubbed circles on her back as the door opened revealing lim miyoo in handcuffs and the police officer from earlier behind her
"i will give you some time" the officer said as he retreated, mark slowly following behind him
"i'll be back" he said to her, while watching miyoo carefully with a frown
seola looked at her so called friend with pain in her eyes, her lips quivered as she processed on what to say to her
she was in a dilemma, her mind was flooding with so many questions and possible reasons why she could act like that
"w-why?" was all she muster out, even after a long thought process. miyoo looked at her with no remorse in her eyes
"i hated you because you took everything i wanted. what should have been mine in the first place." she simply said, a frown spreading across her face
