Monster? (Demon Tanjiro)

ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ 1: ᴛʜᴇ ᴇxᴄʜᴀɴɢᴇ

Only change in this story is that Nezuko is human and a slayer with Tanjiro, Rengoku isn't dead, because Nezuko and Tanjiro managed to help out before Akaza punched him, however Akaza didnt have time to see what Nezuko or Tanjiro looked like.

Everyone heard of this day it was rumored that Muzan would kill the corps this day. Tanjiro and his friends never believed it, until the day actually came, and there they saw Muzan standing in front of the corps, all the Hashiras injured, or almost dead

"I-I..never knew it was true..i thought it was just a rumor..."

Tanjiro said surprised and shocked

Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Nezuko and Kanao, stood there silently while hiding, they couldn't get caught...but Inosuke charged at Muzan wanting to fight

"RARGHHHH FIGHT ME!"

They looked at Inosuke

"Inosuke no!"

Tanjiro shouted out, but it was too late, Inosuke had already charged at Muzan and—Muzan stabbed and got rid of him easily Muzan had gotten rid of the Hashiras easily too, because they never expected it

"Onii-chan! W-what do we do?!"

Nezuko said scared, Zenitsu was dragging on to Nezuko and crying. Tanjiro was horrified

"Let's just stay down—"

"Some of you are still alive huh?" 

Muzan said looking at them

Tanjiro only looked horrified and didnt say anything, what could he do?! But he had no time to think as Muzan was about to attack them.

Kanao, and Nezuko tried hard to block the attacks, and Tanjiro stood up to help too

Everyone in the demon slayer corps was injured, only they were left fighting Muzan, they didnt last long either...as Kanao got hit and Nezuko got injured, Zenitsu was knocked out. Tanjiro was the only one left, as everyone else, couldn't fight

"Everyone is down, you're the only one up, Tanjiro...I'll give you a deal.."

Muzan said with a evil laugh

"Come with me and I'll spare all your friends..."

"Tanjiro dont! He's just tricking you!"

Kanao managed to call out despite her injuries

"Onii-chan! Please dont! Dont worry about us! Worry about yourself!"

Nezuko yelled

Tanjiro, he could save the corps, but exchange himself...for it? But they're telling him not to...

"Choose...you come with me, and I'll spare them, or I'll kill the corps right now."

Him or the corps, he can save everyone this way right?

"I-I'll come with you..."

Tanjiro said to Muzan

"No, Tanjiro!"

Kanao yelled

"I-I'm sorry! It's the only choice! It's the only way we can save everyone!"

Muzan grinned at Tanjiro

"Wise choice, Tanjiro, now...lets go"

Muzan said as they disappeared

"T-Tanjiro...why...?"

Kanao said, crying

"Onii-chan...you're the only one i have left...why...?"

Nezuko said sobbing

"Tanjiro..." 

Zenitsu said crying

Tanjiro was gone now, and they had to get the injured treated.

One week later...

It took a week to get all of the hashiras, Inosuke, Nezuko and Kanao to heal, though the hashiras were still injured, they could do stuff now. Kanao, Nezuko and Zenitsu had to tell them the whole story.

"We saw you all on the floor injured, we didnt know what to do, we thought we could escape Muzan—"

"B-but then he saw us, me and Nezuko had went to try and defend Zenitsu and Tanjiro..."

"But for some reason, Muzan told Tanjiro we could make an exchange, he would take Tanjiro with him, in exchange to save the corps..."

"Tanjiro accepted the offer, and then they disappeared"

Kanao had told them all

"I call that bull****! Why would Muzan want that boy anyways?! Nothing's special about him" 

Sanemi said angrily

"Shut up! My Onii-chan saved you all, and this is how you'll thank him? You're so ungrateful!"

Nezuko yelled at Sanemi crying

"Tanjiro's...gone?"

Giyuu asked, tears forming in his eyes, his sister died, Sabito died saving him, and now Tanjiro's gone too? How many more people will he lose, being weak?

"Such a shame, not that i cared too much anyways, lets find a plan to kill Muzan"

Obanai said, ignoring all the drama

'Kyaaa, he was such a cute boy! So sad thats he's gone, and sad he risked himself for us!' 

Mitsuri had thought

"I will pray for Tanjiro to make it out saftly..."

Gyomei had said

"Guys! Shouldn't we be grateful for his sacrifice? Otherwise we would've been dead! Since he sacrificed himself, lets go try to find him and make a plan to kill Muzan!"

Rengoku had said out loud to catch everyone's attention

"I agree my flamboyant friend! We shall make a plan now to save that kid and kill Muzan!"

Uzui had responded

With Tanjiro and Muzan

Tanjiro trembled the entire time being with Muzan since his exchange, he's right next to the man that had killed his family, how could he not be scared? He was confused why Muzan would want him, to kill him? He wasnt that special, but he's glad that he was chosen so no one else would get hurt.

"Tanjiro...you'll be staying here, and this is your new room, you'll have a great stay..." 

Muzan told Tanjiro with a grin, Tanjiro could smell something was weird, he could smell that Muzan was lying, which scared him, what was he gonna do to Tanjiro?! Tanjiro was worried, but if this meant that the corps would be spared, at least for a while...he didnt mind...if he could keep his friends safe...then thats all that mattered, Tanjiro thought. Muzan grinned at Tanjiro, but it wasnt a happy grin, it was an evil one...what would he do

"Oh, Tanjiro..."

Woo woo! New fanfic heheheh, I've had quite a few fanfic ideas for demon Tanjiro, so uh yeah. 2nd fanfic, tried making it better ^-^

Keep in mind i haven't watched demon slayer in a while, also didn't watch much of season 1 and am too lazy to finish it, the hashira personalities are what I've pieced together from multiple fanfics and stories. They may not be accurate to canon personalities, so i apologize for that.
