Troian is the sheriff of the New Orleans Police Department. She originally grew up in Virginia, but she came down to New Orleans for a new job position. Not only did she come for work, but she got a call that her distant cousin died. Troian's distant cousin that died was Niklaus Mikaelson.

Chandler had a rocky childhood, he was adopted by his grandparents after his mother was killed. His dad always thought he was a disappointment, but when he found Chandler wasn't his son. He murdered Chandler's mother and made sure he knew his bastard son was dead to him. Once Chandler found out he was a wolf he left his grandparents and skipped town.
