"SHANNON LEAVE." I said yelling at her as I was walking into the hospital to pick up Shane.

"I'm having your baby , and all you care about is this girl." Shannon said sobbing.

I stopped in my tracks to look at her..

"Where's the test?" I said looking her in her eyes.

"What test?" She said as she's trying to stop crying.

"I'm not claiming anything until I see results now please get away from me." I said walking into the hospital room.

I walked into the room to see if Shane was still sleeping.

I walked in the living room turning on some music , "Harem" by Miguel.

I walked over to the kitchen putting a pan on the stove.

I made some pancakes and some eggs with back , plating it.

I walked back into the room seeing her on her crying in her sleep.

She missed everything ... she missed her core parts of her life , in a damn institution that's she didn't even need to be in.

I walked over to her shaking her lightly for her to wake up.

"Yes." She said as she wiped her eyes.

"Come eat." I said pulling her up.

She got up grabbing her crutch.

She walked over to the kitchen bar sitting down.

She looked down at her phone as it ringed.

"Hello ms . Vanessa." She said

"Mhm ... mhm ... okay thank you ms . Vanessa." She said hanging up the phone.

"My job was out on hold due to my well you know." She said laughing slightly.

"We'll we thank the lord you still have a chance after your body is better." I said trying to ease the mood.

"I'm gonna be out today , is that okay with you?" I said.

She nodded .

As she scrolled on her phone , I pulled mine out going to Shannon's contact.

"Hold on." I said walking out the balcony closing the door behind me.
