looking at the picture of jeremiah, conrad, belly, steven , and i at the cousins made me smile. i can't wait to be back to where i belong

"are you even listening? or are you just admiring jerry's hot face and bod?" lauren's voice asked me

i turned around to face her, i picked a pillow up from the ground at chucked it at her making her yelp

"i was totally not" i defended myself

she rolled her eyes and said "oh cmon we all know that you have had a little crush on jerry since he became a hotty"

"this summer is different, hes changed and i have too"

she nodded agreeing with me "yeah you've changed, now you have a hot face and bod p"

i laughed at her and she just went through my packed clothes

"i'm so glad you have style, not like belly who still wears a one piece" she said a bit loudly for belly and taylor to hear

"i can hear you!" belly yelled out

"hurry up girls, we have to leave in 10!" my mom, laurel yelled from downstairs

"i guess this is goodbye" i gave lauran a weak smile

"every time she goes through her hair, i feel the tension in the air. no i can't let him leave so. i kill my insecurities... you can't do better!"

belly sang very loudly making steven groan and me laugh

"uh can you guys turn it down a little please?" mom asked us

i was laying my head on her shoulder in the backseat sense belly called shot gun

"yes please" steven said and turned it down

"thank you" mom continued "i want you to be better about helping out the summer. like, don't just leave your dishes in the sink, load then into the dishwasher and not just your own dish either steven"

steven looked at mom through the rear view window

"just be considoand a act like i raised you right, steven that means ding stay out to late" after what mom said steven groaned

"mom, im to old for a curfew"

"wait, what about me and penny? we don't have a curfew either right?" belly asked

steven laughed and said what do you need a curfew for? you don't go anywhere belly, i can't say the same about penny" he looked at me making me slap the back of his head

"don't be a jackass steven" mom said

"what?"

"belly, we'll talk about it when something comes up" mom then looked at me "and that's for you too penny"

"oh and don't forget, you promised you'd take me driving" belly eyed steven

"belly i told you i'd take you" mom said offended

"yeah but your top judgy" belly said, it is the truth

"excuse me?"

i laughed and leaned my head on the window, looking at the beautiful water

"yeah i'm sorry" belly laughed

steven drive to a store to get some gas, so belly, mom and i went inside the gas station to get some snacks

i walked in the gas station, heading straight to the drinks, getting a coke, then heading to the cashier and i saw belly and the boy taking. he was probably about my age or maybe 18

"are y'all new this summer?" he asks us, looking at my sister

and not just looking, i mean looking.

"um us?" belly looked at me for some help "no"

"really, thought i knew every pretty girls on cousins" he smirked at me, i roll my eyes with a smile then patted belly shoulder

"you got this yeah?" i asked and she nodded eagerly, wow she's growing up
