"you know what dylan? maybe you should block shay!!" i yelled.
"fine then." dylan shrugged.
"yeah, fine!! because you're bringing your fake girlfriend thing from a group of friends to social media." i said, rolling my eyes.
i walked away from dylan, grabbing my phone from my bag, seeing many missed calls from shay's number that i still haven't added into my contacts.
i called her.
"shay?" i asked.
"boyfriend?? are you kidding me?! you promised." shay said.
"we're not actually dating shay. it's just a joke."
"oh, well i just thought you were. you know i'm just worried. maybe that makes me a fool."
"it's doesn't. don't worry about me. i love you." i said, before hanging up.
the words i love you were starting to turn into plain words that i had to say. i felt like a robot when i said them. it didn't seem true anymore. i love you was a lie.
"yo liv we're gonna go meet up with the girls at the stairs, wanna come?" ryan asked.
"yea sure." i shrugged, just wanting to get my mind off of the phone call.
