Today my mom and dad was hosting a BBQ for our family at our house which is where I'm at now trying to help set up and I regretted it
"Alyse bring that pan with that chicken in it outside to your father for me" My mom said cooking on the stove
"Okay mom" I responded back as I grabbed the pan going outside where I seen my dad and uncle over the grill
"I'm just saying the lady is crazy" My uncle said knowing he was talking about my crazy auntie Lisa which he isn't lying and you'll find out later
"Here you go dad, hey uncle troy"
"Hey niece, girl I remember you when you were just this big damn you growing up on unc" He said knowing he was about to start I laughed and dismissed myself before the conversation continued into a whole lesson and lecture
Walking back inside I was about to walk upstairs to get Ciana ass but the doorbell ranged "Baby can you get that for me!"

I opened the door and almost cried "DREW!" I yelled seeing my brother jumping into his arms, Andrew had been gone the entire time because of football , we all didn't think he would be able to make the cookout , I may be a daddies girl but my brother is my literal heart and I missed him dearly
"Damn AA you not small no" He mumbled holding me as I smacked my lips he act like it's been years when it's only been 6 months I look the exact same, dramatic like our mother
"I missed you so much I thought you weren't going to be able to make it" I said still hugging him tight
"I wasn't but we almost to the championship and coach wife went into labor so he gave us the week off until the next game since we been putting in so much work, I thought I come down here and surprise y'all" He said kissing my forehead
"Well shit don't mind me, I'm just standing here"
I frowned looking behind him than instantly smiling seeing it was Alana , She's been Drew bestfriend since elementary school and we loved her like family. She and him both moved for their careers but they both just so happen to move in the same area which also isn't far from mom and dads house
But due to Lana's job being a travel nurse, she is always gone also
