(Skull's POV)
Skull stretched in the meadows of his lands. He gave a long yawn before padding along the border, Death, Venom and Oblivion tailing him. He gave a lazy flick of his tail as he gave the order for Death to take a patrol to BreezeClan's territory and watched his deputy peel away to follow his order.
Skull turned his head back to his elder sister and adopted daughter but a stinging pain slammed into his chest and forelegs. He gave a hiss of shock as he unsheathed his claws, ready to fight.
The sight before him was no BreezeClan, or so he assumed, attacker. A gorgeous, fluffy she-cat with darker points and resplendent blue eyes glared up at him. The ice and fury in those blue orbs made him take a self-conscious step back but masked it as one of disgust instead.
"What are you doing on my land?" Skull rumbled, voice deep and meneacing. The she-cats beside him took an automatic step forward, flanking him to make him seem more menacing than what he could convey. Maybe they sensed his unease and self-consciousness and were helping to mask it.
He inhaled her scent, attempting to locate where the she-cat was from. A dark, sinister scent stalked into his nostrils and he blinked. A MistClanner. A possible ally or threat.
"That's none of your business," she snapped, her voice so sharp he would've cut himself on it. "Don't you have dead cats to run and feed or something?"
Venom padded forward, so close that she was almost touching the white she-cat's nose with her own. His adopted daughter flicked her gaze to him before saccharinely drawling,
"Want me to teach this little beauty a lesson?"
He must admit that he was rather astounded by the she-cat's bravery. She must know who Venom was, or the very least, her Elemental powers, yet didn't even waver in her gaze. Until he realised she was staring him, not Venom, dead in the eye.
"Can I leave? Or are you going to gawp at me like I've grown wings or something?" the she-cat meowed, voice harsh.
His admiration slowly seeped into hatred at her brashness, as though she believed they were not even worth her attention.
"No, you will not leave. You're coming with us back to my camp," he snapped after his tongue finally agreed to cooperate, barely able to disguise the scathing hatred for the she-cat.
"Excuse me, what?" the she-cat meowed, her eyes widening with shock, yet still stood firmly planted.
Skull smirked from underneath his half-mask of the skull he wore, pleased to have gained the upper paw in their confrontation. His cold purple eyes glinted in the rapidly brightening sky as he spat at the she-cat,
"Unless you're deaf, I'm sure you're clear on my instructions. I'd rather not repeat myself multiple times since it will not bode well for you. Now follow us."
