Creating Your Arena

Usually, Hunger Games fan fic arenas are nature- related, with a mixture of the Capitol. Or, they could be something more human. An old, abandoned building with rubble would do. Or maybe an old concrete tunnel, with the tributes scattered.

Forestry, cold Artic, deserts, feilds, meadows would only be a few habitats that would do for an arena. Katniss was on a beach, with a jungle, and in an ordinary forest.

Like Katniss thought in the books, usually there is wood to make fire. But if you prefer a challenge to make warmth, there doesn't have to be wood at all.

What to add in your arena:

Maybe think about adding mutts- the Capitol kind. Wild animals would do great, also. Maybe even poisionous snakes and bugs.

How to create your own muttation:

Think of an animal. Then add some unnatural feature about them. Maybe a wicked ability to fly, or jump really far. A poisonous rabbit, a mad dog pack, or even bugs that can turn as large as bears.

But that all depends on what your arena is. If it's a forest, bears, cougars, snakes, and poisionous plants would make sense. It would probaby do best if the mutt goes along with it's "habitat".
