I sighed as I watch my graduation video from last year .

Sitting up I looked in the mirror it's time to get ready for work job this job is stressful enough

great I heard my momma yelling my name she's probably wants some more alcohol from the liquor store

Ion get why she don't ask Henry's ass to go get it

Coming down the steps in my uniform walking pass my momma as she smokes her cigarettes

while mumbling under her breath

"I don't know why you walk around here with and attitude sani cause you got that lil wack ass job you ain't better than nobody in this house " I heard as I walked in the kitchen

This is how my life is I'm the youngest out of 4 kids  my older brother Axel lives in La with his fiancé and their 2 kids

he made sure to leave out this house after graduating high school

My sister Milan passed from a drive by when I was just 3 ever since momma hasn't been the same

Henry he just 23 living under mama and don't do nothing

But mamma don't care cause that's her baby as for me she doesn't care for me so it seems

"Girl I know you hear me speaking to you now go to the liquor store and bring me home some whisky before you go to that lil job of yours "

walking out the front door going to my momma car

looking around this trash ass neighborhood seeing my nosey ass neighbors and they kids outside

Sometimes I wish it was me instead of my sister that died that day

Even though I don't remember much I just know she died protecting me

It really change how my mom treats me though she didn't start showing early signs of neglect

Until I turned 5 sometimes me and Henry had to stay at the neighbors house because she'd be out partying trying to get drunk

I remember at the age of 10 and Henry was 14 we got into a fight

my mom let Henry put his hands on me and told me if I swung back she let the dcf people take us

At that time I was out of school for 2 weeks and she told them I was sick with the flu

At that moment I knew the relationship between me Henry and my mom was different

She'd only be nice and apologize sometimes when she was sober but that didn't last long

For my 15 birthday she got so drunk she started beating on me and made sure to remind me that I killed her daughter

You'd think Henry would grow up and have a change of heart he just walked by and left out the house

Ever since that day she never put her hands on me again

But that's only because I made sure to stay away from her and when it was school I did after school programs and made sure I had a job

Just so I can never be home I know it's sad but I made enough to make sure to save up

So I can get a mini apartment and hopefully be able to go to a community college

I want to be realtor and sell homes it's not much but it'll help me make enough money to survive
