As we got up to take a walk we seen a boy coming up to us I felt rue push me back some

All I heard was to bullets and I seen rue fall down

"Ahhhhh rue get up please " I scream so loud I grabbed my phone and started calling 911

" I nodded my head yess I turned and looked seeing the ambulance coming

" you hear them "  I looked to see him slowly closing his eyes

" I got a pulse it seem like he passed out from lack of blood we need a stretcher asap "

As we get in the back of the car I held rues hand all I could do was cry and yea I'm pregnant I found out 3 weeks ago

I wanted to tell rue when he asked me to be his girlfriend I wanted to tell him first before anyone

And now I might lose him looking at all this blood I felt my self about to pass out

" ma'am is there something wrong we are almost to the hospital try to calm down "

I really can't lose him and I can't raise a baby on my own

As we pulled out to the hospital and as soon as I seen them wheel him in everything turned black an I passed out

Siting up I answer it

" sani you gotta come to the hospital Melanie and rue were shot at and rues in surgery "

" ok I'm on my way "

Hanging up I jumped up " messiah get the fuck up right now "  I yelled as I started putting my sneakers on

" what happened what's wrong "

" boy get up rue got shot he's in the hospital "

" oh shit " he jump up and starting putting clothes on

......................25 mins later ...................

As we pull up to the hospital we see everyone there and rues mom

" hey what's going on and what they say " I said to Jackie

" we'll Melanie is fine she just passed out from being in shock and rue is in  on going surgery "

" fuck man how could this happened "

I turned to see juju and messiah and I think Darius they  looked pissed and was crying

I went and hugged messiah " everything's going to be ok " 

" no it's not I can't lose him I can't lose my brother "

As I comfort messiah I see the doctor and a crying Melanie walk in before I could go up to her rues mom did

" hi baby girl you must be Melanie "

" yea "then she started crying even more

" awe everything's going to be ok my baby's gonna be fine he's a fighter "

She comforted Melanie making her calm down as I continued to comfort my man

Family of Rue McKinley

We all stood up nervously

" talk to me doctor is alright is my baby dead "

" miss McKinley i can tell you this now your son is a fighter he lost a lot of blood but he'll be fine "

" my baby's is gonna be ok Melanie he's gonna be ok "  Mel and rues mom both hugged each other

" he's gonna need to stay for recovery roughly 3 to 6 weeks  we hope for a speedy recovery tho "

" when can we see him " juju said

" now he should be getting up soon i say family first then friends 2 at a time also "

" ok doc "  rues mom said

" now that doctor know all of us are going in there " rues mom said after the doctor left making us laugh
