While settling into the herds new home, Strider herd bush sounds and leaves getting stepped on. Strider looked around and saw a Cougar jump out at him. Strider bit as hard as he could but that didn't stop the Cougar. Even Strider kicked the Cougar in the face, but that didn't stop him either! The Cougar jumped on Striders back and at first he clawed Striders back. Next, the Cougar scratched Striders right eye, leaving him blinded on the right eye! Strider tried kicking him off but the Cougar held on by using her claws. After many tries of trying to kick her off Strider got scratched, bitten even more and more! But luckily Strider finally kicked him off! The Cougar finally ran away knowing he defeated Strider! Strider felt very weak and fell to the ground....
