Striders herd came over to see if he is ok. Including Spirit and Esperanza, Spirit laid down next to Strider hoping to play tag again. The herd didn't know how to help so they just were asking if he was ok. Striders body started to shut down, Strider was also breathing heavily. Strider said to Spirit with a whispering, soft voice.... "I am proud of you Spirit, promise me one thing, when you grow up to be a strong stallion, you will be the leader of the herd and take care of the herd, including your mother. I love you Spirit." He also said.... " I love you Esperanza...." After a minute Strider sadly passed away.... The herd and Esperanza and Spirit cried very hard....
