"Wake up Y/n!" someone yelled.

"Mmm what...Its so early in the morning....Let me rest in peace..." you muttered, not thinking about the way you said your words.

Your eyes sprang open when you heard soft cries, and a wet liquid falling onto your hand.

"Shinobu...What's wrong? Why are you crying?" you asked her.

"I don't want you to die, Y/n-Nee-san....Why...why is the world so unfair to me?!" Shinobu cried.

You immediately embraced her.

"The world isn't unfair to you. Its just that I've been chosen for something special, so I'm not going to decline the offer." you say with a sad smile.

"How about we go spend the day out? Hm?" you suggested.

"Y-yeah, I'd like that.." Shinobu sniffled.

"How about I invite Kanao as well? We could spend the day together!" you smiled.

"That'd be nice. I'll see you outside. I'll be at the garden and I'll also inform Kanao." Shinobu said as she broke the hug and left.

You then got out of bed, and got ready to leave. But before you did, you read through the riddles and re-imagined the dream, in explicit detail.

"Guess I didn't miss anything. That's good." you said to yourself.

You then saw you little birdy, whom you named, Snowflake, chirping.

"Good morning baby! Here's some food." you say, as you put some bird food into Snowflake's little bowl.

After eating, Snowflake waddled to you and rubbed his head on your finger as he waddled over to your pillow and soon fell asleep.

"Aww, sleep well buddy." you cooed.

You then unlocked your door, and went outside, to the garden.

As you got there, you saw only saw Kanao.

"Hello Kanao, where's Shinobu?" you asked.

"She got called out on an urgent mission." Kanao said, her voice lacking any emotions.

"Oh...okay then! Guess its just you and me." you say with a happy smile.

Kanao stayed quiet, which made you a bit confused. Was she mad at you for not telling her about the prophecy earlier?

"Kanao? What's wrong?"

She sighed, before turning to you.

"Why do good people die early?" she asked.

That question made your eyes widen. That's a random question, you thought. You then answered, but not in a way Kanao expected.

"When you're in a garden which flower do you pick?" you questioned, looking at a beautiful rose.

"The most young and beautiful ones." she replied, confused about your answer.

"Hm, Same like, God to his loved ones." you softly smiled at her.

Her eyes slightly widened, as she felt warm tears falling from here eyes.

You sighed, embracing her, feeling a bit guilty that she had to go through the same trauma that she went through with Kanae.
