Five Days Later
"Okay, you ready to come out?"
Pansy calls from behind a curtain in the art room. "Yep."
She walks out of the change room that Y/N put together in the dress. Her dress is a light pink color. The skirt is long lengths of tulle that wrap up the bodice a bit. The bodice itself uses the tulle wrapping up on both sides to form a V shape in the front. The top of the bodice is a slightly lighter pink with sequins sewn into it. When Y/N first saw the dress four days ago, she immediately cut off the sleeves which were those tulle side things that wrap around the arm. She hasn't worked on the bodice at all besides that. Y/N spent the past days hemming each layer of the skirt and thinking about what she needs to do looking forward.
She nods. "Alright, the skirt is looking good so far."
The girl just stands there, trying not to seem at all pleased or impressed.
Y/N walks over towards a group of boxes and other things. She pulls out an old, full body mirror. The glass isn't perfectly clean and the frame's gold has rusted a bit.
She stands up the mirror in front of Pansy to show her.
She looks to Pansy as the girl looks at her reflection. "I think I know what's wrong with this dress."
"What?"
"Well for one, I think that the bodice is in need of some serious work."
The girl looks hesitant. "Okay."
Y/N looks over to the desk where she's kept a lot of supplies. Her quartz wand flies across the room and into the palm of her hand with a subtle gust of wind.
"I think that what this dress also needs is a change of color."
Pansy looks to her. "What do you mean a diff-"
"Colovaria!"
The girls flinches at the sound of the spell and the look of the wand pointing at her.
Y/N thinks deeply about what color she wants the dress to be and imagines it becoming just that. She feels her energy draining slightly as she watches the dress be surrounded with glowing light as Pansy's wearing it.
She lets go of the spell and the misty cloud, surrounding the girl begins to fade.
When the cloud is gone, Pansy's revealed in the same dress she wore before. The only difference is now is that instead of pink and frilly color, there's a dark, emerald green color. The dress is instantly a better fit for the Slytherin girl. It's elegant, it goes well with her skin tone, and it fits her personality.
"What the hell are you doing?!"
She smiles to the girl. "Look in the mirror and see for yourself."
It's the first time Y/N's ever seen Pansy look impressed by someone other than Draco or Blaise. She can tell that the girl is happy with the change by the quiet gasp she releases the second she see's herself. The look of the sun shining through the windows onto her rose undertone skin and the rich color makes her look like she's an earth goddess.
