it all begins with life
the ability to see light for the first time
the ability to think for ourselves
the ability to make our own choices
even though we are merely just a group of elements put together
a bunch of carefully bonded molecules
tiny atoms harvested from the universe
to form a vessel for life
what makes us special
is not the meticulously concocted mixture of earthly elements
but rather it is the God particle
a minute variable in a spectrum of complicated equations
makes us who we are
it makes us wholly and inevitably human
