Both George and Eleanor had officially told their families that they were together. Her mother was ecstatic and said she knew there was someone she just didn't know who.

Her brother didn't mind and now thoroughly enjoyed making fun of her and even couldn't wait to see George in France this weekend.

Her father on the other hand didn't have much of a reaction. She had told her family together and her father didn't say much in reply to her statement.

She knew that was just the kind of person her father was but deep down she hoped that even if he did have a problem that he would bite his tongue.

Now Eleanor was headed to France with George instead of her family for the first time and she couldn't be more happy.

The pair were officially going to walk through the paddock holding hands without a care in the world about who saw them or who knew they were together.

They arrived outside the paddock on Friday morning for free practices. George opened the door and let Eleanor out before taking her hand in his own.

"You ready?" George asked as they approached the swipe gates.

"With you? Always." Eleanor smiled in reply as they both lifted their passes and swiped them over the reader letting them inside.

"Let's go." George said taking her hand in his again and beginning the walk through the paddock.

With Williams' hospitality building being on the far end of the paddock, they had to walk through the busy and people filled paddock passed all the other teams building.

The walk was refreshing. For the first time since being with George, Eleanor didn't have to find a way to sneak from Aston Martin down to Williams to wish him luck.

"See you later?" George wondered as the pair stopped outside the Aston Martin hospitality building for Eleanor to see her family.

"Yep." Eleanor replied before reaching up to kiss George without a care in the world in the middle of the paddock.

Lawrence Stroll always had big expectations for his kids when they were younger so when Lance chose to pursue a career in F1 he was beyond proud.

Eleanor on the other hand was very much the brains. She had a business head on her shoulders and was amazing strong willed.

Because of that Lawrence and Claire-Anne wanted big things for their daughter because they knew she was capable of them. But Lawrence was still extremely old fashioned in some sense like the concept of marriage and a wealthy man supporting his wife.

He had always wanted his daughter to marry a well established businessman who could provide her with a good life like she deserved even though she was well capable of providing for herself.

Because of this he wasn't exactly overwhelmed by his daughter's choice to date a F1 driver in one of the lowest ranked teams in the paddock.

Being involved in the F1 world he knew how unpredictable it was and how limited the seats were and the last thing he wanted was his little girl stuck with some unemployed bum sitting at home.

He and his wife Raquel, the Stroll kids step mother, agreed on the situation where Claire-Anne believed in marrying for love and Eleanor was very much in love with George and vice versa.

Eleanor didn't exactly have the best relationship with her step mother. Although for her father's sake she tolerated and was civil towards the blonde woman.

She would sit furthest away from her father and step mother on their family jet to avoid her father's ill attempt at making the two women bond.

Right now Eleanor and George were laying on Eleanor's bed in the Stroll's London home after only returned home from France last night where George finished 12th.

"It's ugly." Eleanor spoke first as she laid between George's legs with her back against his chest and his arms wrapped around her.

"It's not that bad." George replied as continued to stare passed his girlfriend to the item in question.

"She's supposed to be in fashion, George. This is a crime." Eleanor said as she held her hand ip towards the dress in question that was hanging on the door of Eleanor's slide robes.

"Then don't wear it." George suggested.

"Of course I'm not going to wear it. There will be people at this dinner , real live people." Eleanor replied as she intertwined her hands with her boyfriend's.

"Alright Pinocchio." George said causing the pair to laugh.

"Seriously though. It's like she's trying to embarrass me or something. Or she wants to have a go at me for not wearing it." Eleanor spoke as she stood up from her bed and walked towards the dress. "It's hurts my head."

"You're an idiot." George laughed at Eleanor as she looked at the dress.

"No, Raquel is an idiot if she thinks I would ever be caught dead in that dress." Eleanor replied as she opened the doors to her wardrobe and started filing through for something else to wear.

"So what's this event like anyway?" George wondered as he propped himself up and his elbow.

"It's a dinner party, on a yacht, in Monaco. It's pretty self exploratory. And boring. That's why I'm glad you're coming along. I'll have someone to get me through it." Eleanor explained as she took out different dresses and examined them.

"Well lucky for you I only sit through really boring dinner parties, on yachts, in Monaco, for people I love." The Williams driver said as he stood up and made his way over to Eleanor.

"Well lucky for you, I only invite people to boring dinner parties, on yachts, in Monaco, that I love." Eleanor smiled in reply as she reached up and wrapped her arms around George's neck and kissed him softly.
