「 𝐒𝐢𝐱 」

emily woke up and looked around her surroundings. she was in a room with white walls and the interior white. there was a huge tv in the wall in front of the bed and a furnace underneath it. glasses were the "walls" and it gave her chills. she could see the entire forest from where she was in the room on the bed.

emily got up from the bed and walked over to the glass, placing her fingers on the delicate thing. she looked down and she could see some people outside cleaning.

wow. were they that rich?

emily left the room and used her senses and found her way downstairs. the scent of delicious food hit her nose and she followed the scent and it led to her kitchen. the kitchen had white pained walls like what she saw inside the room she was sleeping in and clear tiles on the ground, island and on the counters.

she saw some chefs fixing something to eat and froze in her steps.

they smelt her and one of them turned around and greeted her.

"good morning, luna."

luna? moon? what's a luna? emily thought.

she gave a small wave.

"we'll bring you the food soon. the alphas will be back soon."

emily nodded.

she knew what an alpha was for sure but not a luna. she knew that an alpha was the ruler of a pack - most likely wolves. at her school, some boys would have a gang and one of them would call themselves alpha and said they ruled everybody.

is this what these alphas here do? is this what they're like? questions pondered on her mind but she quickly pushed them away and when she saw madison and danielle entering the kitchen.

a smile found its way to her face.

they looked at her contagious smile and chuckled. madison motioned for her to follow them and she did so. they left the kitchen and went to living room where they were last night.

she didn't get to see the place properly last night because she was tired and worn out.

everything was white. the chandeliers, cabinets and couches gave it a little taste for it not to look so sour. glasses were the walls and emily found it weird.

"where is the privacy?" emily asked, pointing to the glasses as she saw a little peeping in the house from a far.

madison shrugged, "we have nothing to hide."

"but what if you want to walk around naked?" emily squinted her eyes.

"not eligible." danielle responded.

emily wanted to question why not but decided against it. danielle and madison sat down on the opposite couches in front of emily.

"we know you have questions, so ask away."

emily nodded.

"last night, you changed into humans. was i dreaming about the wolves?" emily asked foolishly. it would've been embarrassing if they were actually people there and she was lost in her mind that they were actually wolves.

"no. the wolves were there. we are the wolves."

"what? how is that possible?" emily asked in confusion.

"werewolves. i brought that theory up last night." danielle said and she nodded slowly.

"oh, okay." she processed this, "what is a luna?"

"a female alpha - the alpha's other half."

emily squinted her eyes.

"the chef back there referred to me as 'luna'. which alpha is my other half?"

madison motioned to her and danielle.

now emily was even more confused.

"isn't an alpha a male leader?"

"no. it can be a male or a female. doesn't matter. as long as there is a leader to the wolves."

emily nodded, understanding the concept.

"so both of you are alphas?"

"yes." danielle responded.

"and according to you," she pointed to madison, "im both of you other half?"

danielle nodded.

"how? i cant have two partners."

"polygamy."

emily has heard that word before but she didn't understand the word so she just left it alone.

"so im supposed to date the two of you one time?"

"yes, emily." madison sighed.

first name means she's mad at me, emily thought. something she was thought to believe.

she left the questions there and the chefs brought in their breakfast and rested it on the table between them. this brought back up a memory and it made her tense up.

no one noticed.

the chefs left the living room and went back to the kitchen.

"breakfast is served," danielle sang.
