Sting POV

It had been a about a week since we started training for the Grand Magic Games. It has also been a week since that dinner about Y/N moving on from Fairy Tail. We've been training nonstop for this years games. This one is different. Fairy Tail is competing this year and we all know shit will go down once they announce Y/N's last name in that arena.

Y/N has been okay. I could tell training has really boosted her mood about everything. She's pretty competitive like me and I can't wait to show all these guilds who's on top.

"We're almost there!" Frosch cheers. We were all sitting in the train that's transporting us to Crocus, the Capital of Fiore and the location of the Grand Magic Games.

"Yea!" Lector cheers along with Frosch.

"Get a load of this crap." Rufus, a fellow guild member says from the seats next to us. "Seems like Fairy Tail managed to become face to face with Acnologia."

"No way." Rogue says. "That dragon has not appeared in YEARS."

"Says here, Natsu Dragneel couldn't even slay him." Rufus says with a mocking tone. "And he calls himself a dragon slayer?"

"What a joke." Y/N says out of nowhere. "I bet we could take Acnologia easily."

I was stunned to hear Y/N speak like this about her brother. She has mentioned to us that she will not let this get in the way of the games for her so I guess she really did cut ties with that situation. Normally, we trash talk all the guilds at the games to hype us up for the competition but it kind of worries me though with Fairy Tail.

"Obviously." Rogue agrees. "Can't wait to fight Gajeel."

"I definitely wanna fight Natsu. Gotta show him some real dragon slaying magic." I snickered. I noticed Y/N smirking too.

"I just like showing off what a badass I am." She smirks but follows it with a small laugh.

We eventually arrive to Crocus and settled all our stuff in our inn. Y/N wanted to take advantage and rest up for the night as the games begin tomorrow. Meanwhile, Rogue and I decided to walk around Crocus since it's been awhile since we last been here. The sun is slowly going down, making the night slowly fall in.

"Sting." Rogue blurts as we walked through the city. We tried our best to keep a low profile so we don't draw crowds. "Aren't you worried?"

"About what?" I asked.

"About Y/N, you idiot." He insults.

"Jeez, what's with the insults?" I asked.

"Doesn't it seem odd she's suddenly back to her normal self? After finding out this life changing news?" He questions. "Doesn't it seem strange she's suddenly trash talking her own brother?"

"I mean, yea it does." I replied. "But, what more can we do?"

"I'm just worried about them eventually bumping into each other at the games." He says, speaking about Natsu and Y/N.

"Rogue, it'll be fine. Now stop worrying." I said while walking a bit further from him. I didn't want to continue talking about this.

"You're just avoiding it because you're scared she'll go back to Fairy Tail." He states which made me stop walking.

I turn to him and just glared. He didn't seem fazed by it considering we're practically brothers at this point. He's just waiting for me to say he's right but I won't give him that.

"No, that's not why I'm avoiding it." was all I said.

"Don't play stupid with me." He smirks. "You are in love with her after all."
