Y/N POV:

I don't know what's worse: the monthly visits by Twilight Ogre or the fact we can't do anything to get these idiots to leave us alone.

It was that time for them to come to our guild to bother us about monthly pay for this crappy building. Ever since the disappearance of Tenrou Island...which included my brother...our guild's reputation has been going down under and we barely ever get any jobs come in. It resulted to us not having enough money for our previous building so now we live in this tiny cabin.

Occasionally, we don't have the money to pay off this building so those rude Twilight Ogre dweebs would severely punish us. Well, today that's not gonna happen.

I was just strolling through town, on my way back from doing a few errands for the guild. I kind of became the new Mirajane in the guild; I was the bartender but I was one of, if not, the most powerful mage in the guild. Ever since the mages disappeared on Tenrou Island, I had to work hard to become as strong as Natsu was. Not only for my own benefit, but for the guild too. After awhile, I just lost motivation in remaining the strongest mage and just wanted to put the guild and my comrades first.

I looked around the town only to have my mind go back to how things were back then. When everyone was here. I would walk with Natsu through town and just listen to him talk about his adventures and friends and such. Now, I'm alone. How can the island just disappear?

I shrugged off the thoughts and continued walking to the guild with the bags in my hand. However, when the guild finally comes into view, I see three large figures right at the entrance. Shit, Twilight Ogre came too early!

I tiptoed a little bit closer towards the doors and tried to listen to what they were saying.

"T-that's all the money we have!" Macao stutters, obviously in fear.

"Well, it's not enough!" One of the Twilight Ogre mages exclaimed. "You know what happens when someone doesn't pay us?" There was a short pause of silence before him answering. "We destroy this stupid building and beat you all to a pulp!"

I started hearing crashes and explosions and I lift my head to notice the guild is getting destroyed. Everyone in guild was begging to stop but they just continued breaking stuff and smashing the floors with their bare hands. At this point, I dropped my bags of food and sprinted inside the guild with fire in my fists. I leaped and my fiery fist made contact with one of Twilight Ogres people, knocking him out.

"Marcus!" The other two exclaimed then turned to me. "Who the hell do you think you are?!"

"I'm tired of you guys picking on us constantly like we're your bait." I yelled right at their faces. I hear everyone else in the guild murmuring about how dumb I am for doing this but I don't care.

"Can't you see the state we're in? How about you have some compassion and don't be so harsh on us?!" I yelled louder and my eyebrows furrowed together more due to my anger peaking.

"You little brat..." One of them mumbled then began chuckling as he lifted his giant metal hammer. "You'll pay for this!" And his hammer made its way towards me only to have it stopped from hitting me by my bare hands. Everyone gasped at my strength, making me evilly grin at the Twilight Ogre idiot.

"Now, I'm fired up!" I shouted and melted the hammer with the heat from my hands and let the little bits of hot melted metal into my mouth since it counts as fire. Natsu taught me this trick.

"Di-did you just melt my hammer?!?!" The mage twitched. Without answering, my fist make contact with his face again and slam his head down with both of my hands together. He immediately collapsed on the floor and I turned to the last mage who was shaking in fear. Good, he should be scared.
