Enough was enough, I decided. I walked at the opposite end of the banquet hall, occasionally halting to greet acquaintances. I finally got in sight the lady I had been wanting to see. She was dressed in a kurti and salwar. Not too plain, not too fancy. She had striked the perfect balanced and oh, I was smitten.
I whispered in her ears, and I realised that she didn't realise me coming. She was lost in her track of thoughts. Probably thinking the same. Ways of escape.
