OMNISCIENT POV
*BERK*
Valka sighed as she looked towards the horizon, standing on the dock. "Something bothering you?" Gobber asked as he came and stood beside her. She nodded, looking at him.
"Hiccup...I hope he is alright. I've gotten no word from him..."
"He's on an expedition! He lives for these things! He'll send a message when he is either on his way back or when he needs help...but Hiccup is nothing to worry about..." Gobber assured her as they turned away and walked across the plaza to the Great Hall. "What we do need to worry about is the Archipelago chiefs coming for an emergency meeting."
"Meeting? Since when?" Valka frowned, confused as this was the first she'd heard of it.
"Apparently it was last minute but they're all coming here...so obviously it is important..."
"But did you tell them that Hiccup is not here?" Valka asked as she sat down on her chair as Dowager Queen of Berk.
"Yes...but they insisted on coming...so the place is getting prepped for their arrival..." Gobber looked around the Great Hall and saw the decorations and crests of each of the tribes going up and the whole place being cleared up.
"Well then...it looks I have to take over...again..." Valka sighed as she leaned back in the chair.
She loved her son, she really did...but did he always have to put her in such predicaments?

*ALEXANDRIA*
After making a side stop in another town, the riders arrived in the majestic and fabled city of Alexandria.
Fishlegs was overcome with excitement as he marvelled at the beauty of the city where the Egyptian pharaohs lived lives of luxury and scandal.
In the distance, was the magnificent Lighthouse of Alexandria and his excitement was matched by the relief of the others – a lighthouse meant a harbour which meant boats and then home.
But first, finding Astrid and the dragons was more important.
"Now where?" Eret asked as Heather sighed.
"Wherever we go, we're visiting the lighthouse..." Fishlegs said as Heather smiled and about to reply, but men wrapped in in black tunics, jackets, scarves and turbans approached them slowly.
"You there!" They cried, pulling their curved swords out.
"Run!" Eret said calmly and they ran into a large crowd as the men chased after them, demanding for them to stop.
They ran further until Heather turned around and saw the men were some distance away, navigating through the crowds.
"Go left!" Heather cried and they turned into an alley, heading straight down as they avoided people dusting out their large carpets, emptying chamber pots and hanging out their clothes.
They reached a square, a few people staring at them as the riders stopped, breathless.
"Why did we run? How do we know they were going to attack us?" Ruffnut asked as Snotlout looked at Eret.
