Dear Holy Spirit,
Will You do it for me?
Will You let me weep over the things that grieve Your heart?
Will You let me get serious with the things that matter to You?
Will You let me get thrilled with the things that make You excited?
Holy Spirit, I want to feel what You feel. I want to desire everything You desire. I want to get angry with things that make You upset.
I long for that kind of sensitivity, that kind of awareness when it comes with You. In every detail of my life, I long to acknowledge You. I yearn to involve You in everything that I do.
Because I admit, there were times I forget about You. I forgot that You are present. I forgot that You are with me at that very moment. I forgot Your love for fellowship, for a deeper kind of friendship. I forgot You wanna do life together with me.
And that's a big problem I shouldn't take lightly.
So, my Friend. This I ask from You.
Will You do it for me?
