Amari's mother stopped with drugs and went to alcohol. She's always drunk barely taking care of herself and duties.

Amari is dressed in some old jeans and sweater and some converses also a hoodie to hide the scars. Her outfit was cute and average.

"Bye mama" Amari says and kisses her cheek

"Mmm bye baby love you"

"Love you too" Amari states and she closes the door

Amari doesn't know what made her mother like this her father passed along time ago so it can't be that.

Amari walked to school watching every which way of her. Amari gets to school and people talk about her making her feel insecure.

In class

"Ms.White hood down please" the teacher says and Amari puts her hood down as everyone watches showing her big afro

"Look at all that hair so pretty without the hood, now open your books to page 10 and read silently"

Amari walks into the crowded hallways with her head down. She goes to her next class which is free period and sits down. People think that she can't hear them but she actually can. Amari looks through her phone looking at the pictures she has taken over the years. Amari has become real fascinated photography over the years.

"Whatchu doin" Raheem ask sneaking up on Amari

Amari jumps and sets down her phone hitting Raheem in the chest.

"Kaiser" she says turning her body

"Ni'lay" he says back

"Mmm... I'm doing nothing" Amari says then touches his face moving his face side to side checking his face then gives a answer
