"Guys write in glitter pens too, right?" Jinsoul the next day while they're watching one of Sooyoung's cooking shows. Her lunch with Doah had left much to be desired, but he promised he was trying. Jinsoul didn't want to waste any more of her time thinking about it, and waved Sooyoung off when she asked how it went. She was content to space out watching yet another episode of Cut Throat Kitchen, but then she thinks of the journal still on her nightstand.

Sooyoung has no idea where this came from. "...What?

Jinsoul pauses. "Just like, say I was trying to figure out if a person's writing was a guy or a girl. Glitter pen doesn't immediately mean girl,"

"It pretty much does," Sooyoung shrugs, taking another obscene bite of her ice cream. She's having ice cream at 2 in the afternoon because she's an adult and it's a Saturday.

"That's pushing some unfair gender roles,"

"I'm still right"

Jinsoul huffs. "It's a red glitter pen though. Red is kind of a guy color, right?"

"Okay Jinsoul, when you meet a guy who writes in red glitter pen, you let me know,"

┌"Whatever you're feeling," Jiwoo begins, speaking gently as she rubs Jungeun's back. Jungeun's eyes are teary and she won't look up at her friend, too ashamed. "It seems to be weighing heavily on you. If you can't talk to me, I want you to get it out somehow," She hands Jungeun a journal, a soft red color with a cute bookmark. "Try writing. It'll help you get things off your chest,"┘

"Did you steal my charge cord again- oh?"

Jinsoul slams the journal shut, looking up at Sooyoung who's standing in the doorway. She'd only just opened it, but for some reason, shame creeps up her neck and she feels the urge to hide it.

That only makes Sooyoung more curious.

"Whatchu got there, Soul?" Sooyoung clasps her hands behind her back and steps further inside the room, craning her neck to see the mystery book.

Jinsoul is not a great liar. "Nothing,"

Sooyoung stills, and her eyes seem to pierce Jinsoul. The younger is so busy avoiding them that Sooyoung is able to snatch the book away before Jinsoul can stop her.

"Sooyoung! Give it back!"

"I didn't know you kept a journal," Sooyoung hums, flipping through the pages. She stops suddenly. "Uh...what about Doah?"

Jinsoul's eyebrows shoot up. "What about Doah?"

"I thought you thought you were straight,"

"I am," Jinsoul glares at her, trying to snatch the book from Sooyoung but failing. "It's not my journal,"

"Oh?" Sooyoung is just plain confused.

"I found it in the lost and found, it had no name," Jinsoul fiddles with the hem of her shirt. "I don't know why, I just wanted to read it,"

"You're violating this person's privacy, Jinsoul," Sooyoung crosses her arms.

"I know, I do feel bad," Jinsoul is quieter now. "But how am I supposed to return it? And I don't even know who it belongs to, so I'm not going to hurt anybody with this information," She scratches her neck sheepishly. "Plus, I don't know, I got this weird feeling of like, deja vu, you know? I've only read a little bit, but this guy is totally head over heels for this girl-"

"Guy?" Sooyoung snorts. "Is this why you asked me you glitter pens?"

"It could still be a guy!"

"Or!" Sooyoung handed her the book back. "Gay people exist. Have fun with your snooping. I'm taking back my charge cord,"
