After endless hours of driving, the car finally reached a small town.

Hawkins, Indiana.

This is where we would be living from now on.

I sighed, looking around the dull town.

I'd much rather be back in California.

Spending my days sitting on the beach, with all my friends.

One thing I won't miss about California, is Billy Hargove. (About that...)

As much as I love him, his anger just got out of hand.

Anyway, I doubt i'll ever see him again so i'm just gonna stop thinking about him.

"Here we are!" Dad said, getting giddy as we pulled up at a really big house.

I was in shock.

I knew Dad got a massive bonus from work after he left, but I didn't think it was that much money?

"Wow." I said, leaving my mouth slightly open as I stared at the house in awe.

"What do you think, Y/N?" Mom smiled.

"It's really nice." I said, grinning.

"Guess what?" Dad said, walking towards me with a few bags.

"What?" I asked.

"Since you got your driver licence last month, and we didn't bother getting you a car since we were moving here anyway, we bought you a car here! You just need to go pick it up." He said with a smile.

"No way!" I yelled.

"Yes way! Your Father's gonna start unpacking, while I bring you down to get it and then we'll come back here and help your Father." Mom interupted, handing Dad a box.

Me and Mom got back in the car, bidding my Dad a quick goodbye before heading around to a car dealership.

We got out of the car and went inside.

Mom talked to the dealer while I looked around wondering what kind of car they might've got me.

Mom grabbed my sleeve and begun following the dealer.

They stopped walking at a brand new convertible red mustang.

"No fucking way." I muttered.

Mom grinned at me, hopefully not hearing what I had just said.

"Like it?" She asked, taking the keys from the dealer as he walked away.

"Well obviously, look at it!" I said, getting excited.

"Here are the keys, do you remember the way back to the new house?"

"Yeah." I said, nodding my head.

"Well if you want, you could take a drive around town, maybe try find your new school too?"
