"Mom when is dad coming back hone?" Cole asked as he came down from the stairs and his mom looked up from her laptop.
"Tomorrow night." Mom said.
Cole rolled his eyes and mumbled something in Spanish only enough for his mom to hear.
"Cole watch your mouth and I know you want to see your dad more but it is his job and-"
"So what mom like he should have more time for us." Cole said and then deeply sighed.
"He does care about you and his siblings and he is trying his best." Mom said.
Cole scoffed. "Yeah right."
After he said that, he left the house and went to the beach to clear his mind off.
He sat down on sand staring at the sunset while the water coming between his toes.
"Never thought to see you at the beach."
Cole turned around and rolled his eyes.
"Don't roll your eyes at me Cole so why are you looking so upset for?" James asked.
"It is none of your fucking business James." Cole said.
"Well it is and let me guess it is about Dad?" James questioned.
"Yeah and let me guess Mom told you to come here?" Cole asked.
"No she didn't and besides I was driving to my g-well until I saw you." James said.
"Wait do you have a girlfriend?" Cole questioned.
James rubbed his neck nervously and noticed that Cole was smirking which made him rolled his eyes.
"I mean I do but it is nothing serious that's all."
"If it was serious then when you are going to tell mom about her?"
"Cole please wipe that stupid smirk off your face but soon very soon I will tell her."
"Okay."
"Anyway tell me what's wrong."
"I feel like being in my teenage age years I barely seen dad and he is always busy well more busy than mom even though she work at home sometimes but come on it is not to hard to take a goddamn break."
"Yeah you are not wrong Cole."
