Chapter 9

The Familial Adventure- Chapter 6

Another year pasts as more memories are made
Two years ago they found the indestructible shield and the year after the vitality of the heart
Last year they found the sound of the wind and the fire of destruction
The four are then turned into their soul forms by three gods who kept watching them.

Now they found more.
"This is my mothers grave"
Theres a sturdy tree with red leaves and white flowers growing a bit as well
"Your Mother seems like a beautiful woman" Cale smiled bitterly "She is. The most beautiful woman in the world"
They took some time to appreciate it

"You can cry to me. No one else is here" said Kim Rok Soo making the other fully sobbing in his chest
A few minutes later Cale started to calm down.
"Okay, Lets go do what we planned now. I'm finished crying" he joked making the other smile
The book was then opened.

It was a journal written by Jour Thames
They both opened it as it gave a clue on what to do.
With simple magic, a hole was dug beside the tree to take out the chest the book was implying
With magic, all the things inside was out of the way only showing an empty chest with a key hole.
The bookmark on the book which is shaped like the key hole is the key to open it
As they did another book was inside as gold letters started glowing on the pages of the red velvet book.

{ Hi! Will you be my new owner? }

"We are not" "Can we offer you a deal though?"

{ Ask away cuties! }

'Who's cute?' "We will transfer you somewhere else to protect you"

{ I see then. If it is for my protection then okay! }

Wind started to gather as the tree trunk started to open showing a red void

{ Only one can enter and take the power. In order to transfer me, just bring the item and complete the task }

"Shall I go?" "I'll do it, Hyung. She is my mother"

{ I knew it! You know you guys are so cute! }

"Who is?" Cale ignored it and went in the tree ready for the task
The dragon then protected him from the outside, making sure no one gets close.

Inside was a huge mansion
It's in the middle of trees with the color red and white blended
Grass luscious as ever while colourful flowers are everywhere
Its like a dream as the above only shows the beautiful blue sky
The large mansion is white with gold accents around as a statue in the middle was taking the attention
It was a large T in gold
Cale walked closer and read the words engraved on the gold plate on the stautes stand

The memories rushed in
The day his mother was alive, when he was still a naive little boy
The days where they would sneak out together and go here
Their secret hideout.

They used to go through another red-leafed tree which is from a past Thames family member
All their memories together, playing and having fun.
They even do weird photoshoots with a magical video recorder the Thames family has.

He then explored the mansion
Nothing changed.
As he enters the biggest room where he and his mom usually sleep at after playing before going back "home"
There's the video recorder with a name engraved
" Jour Thames "
He almost teared up again if it wan't for the fact that Kim Rok Soo is still waiting outside

He quickly reread the phrase and successfully transferred the ancient power to the ruby he is holding and went outside seeing no one.

"Hyung?" Suddenly the other appeared with blood on his clothing and a slight disgusted face
"What happened? Are you alright, Hyung?" The dragon magically cleaned his clothes "Yeah. Just some drunk person thinking I was a woman" "Is he dead?" "Yeah."

A few minutes later
Kim Rok Soo placed a barrier on the tree to prevent anyone going close
The things of his childs mother still scattered around so he decided to do a quick spell to clean up
As he finished, he felt a presence nearing
When he looked down the hill there he saw a drunk man.
The man looks super ordinary if it wasn't for the gold chains on his neck, a small diamond ring and a gold bracelet
Even having one gold tooth and holding an expensive wine.
The drunk person then looked at him then smirked
He walked towards him.

"Look at this beautiful maiden? Are you lost?" Curse the fact that he has slightly (that was a lie. Cale wanted him and Kim Rok Soo to have matching long hair so he has it until past his shoulders while the red head is just a few inches longer) long hair and he is a dragon so obviously he is a pretty guy (that is also a lie because when his child saw his face before he was a dragon he complimented him the whole week about how he's really beautiful and up until now the human he loves praises everything he does because of his for some reason low self-esteem)

"Who are you." "Well aren't you a fiesty one?"
The dragon would of let him go if it wasn't for the fact that he tried to touch him, then when he said no the drunk man tried to slam the bottle to his head and even went and kicked the chest and the by the way very sturdy tree
Karma was fast as the guys feet hurt because of the tree, tripped down the hill causing him to roll down the hill as Kim Rok Soo watches.
He couldn't hold back his anger then proceeded to pierce his body but in the end he healed it to make it look like he died because of his stupidness, falling off the hill.

As he went up feeling disgusting because of the blood sticking to his shoes and clothes, that is when Cale went out calling for him then asking if the guy is dead, which it was by the way.
He then did a quick spell and asked
"Well what did you find?" Earning a smile from Cale which made the other shiver
"The ancient power is here. Theres a mansion" "Really?" He then smiled the same way "You're really a scammer Ahjussi" "You just smiled the same way as me" "Because I got it from you"
The dragon shut up. It is indeed true.
"Anyways lets go pretty Ahjussi, follow me to our new mansion"

Ruksoo looked proud as the other is smug
"Amazing right? Its for the next owner of the Thames family. Which is me of course, since I'm the only one left" "..you can end your whole bloodline" "Yeah.. I don't want to have a child Hyung" "Its fine we'll make it work somehow"
They explored then left
After the new owner went outside and left with the book, the hole om the trunk closed up like nothing ever happened.
They then went back to their house

"Are you sure that I can watch?" "Yeah, I trust you Hyung" Cale said giving a soft smile while the dragon did the same but only slight
The chest was then opened
Its filled with clothes and jewelry.
A few paintings and a notebook for sketching
"Your mom loved art" "she does"
They looked through more

"You look a lot like your mother. The red hair, the talent with art. You are basically the copy of her but in a different gender" "I love that I do" "Yeah, you love her very much don't you" He nodded as response tearing up again but before he can even rub his eyes and say something, he was engulfed in a hug
It ended up with him crying again.

Kim Rok Soo then prepared a warm bath for him and cooked him some sweets, all of it helped him sleep a good night.
Cale never had another nightmare ever since he lived with the dragon.
"Thank you, Hyung"
They then cuddled then slept.

"This is an amazing episode" "I would like to rewatch it" "Lets rewatch the part where Ruksoo killed the guy"
The ladied looked at GoW then ignored him, fangirling at how cute the twos relationship is
The sadness of being the only man in the group.
He missed it when they will bully Despair.
Too bad he sealed himself up.

On the other side someone shivered feeling a disturbance approaching.
Despair cried that night having a nightmare of his younger days where he will get utterly bullied by three stronger and ancient gods.
