i gently rest olivia on the other pillow taking out my phone and messaging her. the time was 8:42am, and i tap on liv's contact. 'morning livie ! just gonna go out for a bit' i text her, getting out of bed.
i walk up the docks, seeing william's boat. "hey y/n!" he yells. i wave, smiling. i carefully step onto the boat, william jogging up to me. "didn't think you'd make it in time," he says, hugging me. "well here i am!" we laugh, pulling away.
i sit next to will as he starts driving the boat. one of the things i treasure most with him is last minute boat trips to wherever he takes us. "where to, jack sparrow?" i joke, looking around. "wherever the universe takes us." he responds, turning the wheel. i take out my phone, reading olivia's message. 'all good :) have fun'

william puts the boat in auto pilot, and we walk to the open deck area. "it's really nice out here," i say, taking everything in. "wanna take a pic for my instagram? haven't posted in a hot minute." william says. i smile, taking out my phone. i lean it on a window frame carefully, moving back after setting a timer.
