2 Dimensional screen.

3 Dimensional me.

Nothing there.

Then a table in front of me.

It was empty.

Then balloons above me.

They were full.

Then my friends in front of me.

They were empty.

They came with their masks on.

I didn't.

That's why I was sad. That's why I was crying.

They weren't trying to make me cry.

That's why I was happy. That's why I tried smiling.

I didn't have a mouth.

That made me cry.

My friends couldn't care.

Somebody heard me. She had to stop me.

Her mask was weird.

It had tears on it.

They weren't real.

She gave me a cake.

She had to. She didn't have a mouth.

I didn't want the cake. The cake wouldn't fix me.

My friends gave me a mask.

It said Brother's Mask.

A mask for me.

From Michael.

The mask would fix me.

This was my happiest day.

Nobody knew that.

My friends said we were the same. My friends didn't have to.

My friends could care. Underneath.

Underneath was gone.

We were just our masks.

Were the balloons falling up or were we falling down?
