"Mr Willis" I said watching one of my students walk in the class late
"My parents was fighting" he mumbled laughing with low eyes
"Tell principal farnsworth that" I said writing him up for a detention

"Dejá get on you think you allat cause you with Karti cheating ass" some random girl said
"Cheating on who cause no me?" Dejá said
"That nigga loves and respects me too much to be cheating" she said the bell rung right before the girl could say something back making me sigh out of relief cause if she came at my daughter the wrong way I would've had to put her in check
"What you doing for lunch?" Dejá asked me
"Grading papers" I shrugged
"Karti wanna know what we wanna eat"
"Oh I'm o- my pops said make sure you eat too" she said looking at me
"I'm craving sonic but he don't have to- ma stop doing that and let me know what you want" she said
"I want some mozzarella sticks from sonic and some pop corn chicken" I said
"What drink?"
"Real fruit strawberry slushee" she nodded as I started grading papers
My phone rang making me pick it up
"Hello?" I asked looking at D6
"Watchu doing?"
"Grading papers" I said
"Ima be back today I should be there by the time you get off work" he said making me nod
"Ok"
"Where Dejá?"
"Right here" Dejá said grabbing my phone
"Hey pops" she said
"Hey babygirl watchu doing?" He asked
"Nothing waiting for Karti to come"
"You talk to Nyny?" She nodded
"Yea she ain't doing nothing for real kartier still not letting her leave the house" Dejá said
"That nigga so over protective boy" D6 laughed making me huff
