SURPRISEEE another chapter!

This story is btw also posted on AO3!

Just a note from me; the underlined words and sentences will mean that they are spoken in 'another' language.

I don't like to see a foreign language in the middle of a story and that you need to scroll alllll the way down for a translation. So I decided to be lazy!

I hope you still like it!
Enjoy!

Stiles woke up in his apartment. For a moment, he did not know why he was suddenly awake, but that changed soon enough when his wards gave him another warning. He rolled out of bed just in time and made himself invisible. The shooter walked silently into the room with his weapon drawn before the intruder cursed.

''Fine! Stiles, you win!'' The intruder declared loudly with a frown, looking around, trying to find the man in question. Stiles grinned before walking up close to the other man and leaning down to whisper in his ear.

''Told ya.''

Clint whirled around in a fighting stance, and Stiles could barely duck in time so he wouldn't get a black eye.

''You and your 'magic'!'' Clint grumbled when he finally relaxed, and Stiles laughed. He knew Clint was wary about his magic, but Stiles didn't really care.

''My wards will always warn me in time-'' Stiles started before he was thrown to the ground with a yelp through a series of well-placed blows on his back. He groaned and glared at Natasha, who was hovering over him with a smirk.

''You cheated!''

This time Clint laughed, ''No, we didn't. You just expected that I was the only one here, and when I distracted you, Nat had the perfect opportunity.''

Stiles pouted but accepted Natasha's hand when she held it out for him.

''I was warned that someone entered,'' He said sullenly, Nat chuckled, and Clint outright laughed before following him to his kitchen.

Since joining S.H.I.E.L.D. a couple of months ago, he had trained with the two spies whenever they weren't on a mission, he hadn't seen much of Captain America, but Stiles didn't really mind, he was a bit intimidated by the American Hero.

They did many of these 'sneak attacks' to train him to always be aware of the danger. Stiles had learned quite a lot, he was in good shape from running with the supernatural, and he had kept up with the training schedule from the FBI, but the spies were on a whole other level.

Thankfully he could feel that his stamina and technique were getting better, even if he couldn't beat Nat in hand-to-hand combat without his magic, and sometimes not even when he did use his magic. She was special that way.

Clint, however, he could beat hand-to-hand, but from a distance, he was far more dangerous. He never missed a target. Stiles still had bruises from a way too enthusiastic game of paintball.

Stiles was a decent shot, and his fighting technique was getting better from the training with Nat, but according to them, he relied still too much on his magic. That's why they were training him so hard in other fields. And because they couldn't help him with his magic, of course.

Stiles was making breakfast for all three of them when Lydia called.

She had been surprised (read livid ) when he told her about his new employment. Stating he was throwing himself back into danger and that this was not what she meant with more stimulation in his professional life.
