~Chapter 4||The Body
after finding Will's body last night, Ember took El back to Mikes place and went home with Link, when she was going to bed, Link walked in "what's up Link?" she asked
he started to cry and Ember pulled him onto her bed and she hugged him close to her, she didn't let go of him all night as he cried himself to sleep.
she had never really felt this sad before, now knowing she's lost Will who was like a second brother to her, she felt real pain, and real grief

Ember had woken up to Link going out, looking at the time, she was going to be late for school, she quickly got up and grabbed jeans and a band shirt, pulling her hair in a tight ponytail and putting her shoe's on
she ran downstairs to see Jaz waiting by the door "come on slow poke, Link already left" she smiled at her big sister, Ember smiled and took Jaz out to the car "why are you so late?" she asked while Ember strapped her in
"i slept in late" she smiled to the little girl "let's get you too school then" Ember smiled while Jaz cheered

Ember rushed into school just as the last bell went, she quickly got into biology, everyone looked at her "nice for to finally join us miss Royal" her teacher said
"well it's not nice for me since i don't really want to be here" she sassed and sat down in her seat, she looked out her window and saw the other late students walking in
"Royal!" Steve whisper-shouted, she turned to her left "hey, erm, if the police talk to you could you like, like not-"
"Mention the alcohol, and the whole party, so your parents don't whoop your ass, yeah" she smiled
"thanks" he looked forwards "listen, your still cool, and you can still sit with us at lunch, even if you save to perverts camera" he looked back at her, she was looking out the window again
"thanks? i guess, didn't know i need king Steve's stamp of approval on if i'm cool or not" she whispered still looking out the window
"no, you don't i was just saying, i... we, think you're cool"
"well, thanks? i saved Jonathan's camera because i knew its something he loves more anything, and i know he shouldn't have taken photo's of us but, i've known him my whole life, i know he didn't have ill intentions" Ember let her guard drop a little
"right, i get it, your friends, i'd defend Tommy, he's my best friend" Steve smiled, Ember nodded "why did we never talk before this?" Steve watcher her
she sighed and looked at Steve "you're a dick" Smirking, Steve shook his head
"oh, wow, you really hate me" he chuckled
"well when we were kids you did trip me up at recess" Ember smiled at the Memory
Ember was playing hide and seek with her best friend Jonathan, she couldn't find him anywhere, she turned the corner and tripped, she looked up at Steve Harrington with his leg out "oops sorry, didn't see you, weirdo" he laughed walking away
Ember got up and ran towards him and pushed him, he fell forwards, Steve quickly got up "oops didn't see you there" Ember said to him, he pushed her back, but she didn't fall
they had a shoving match until he fell and Ember was hitting him, a teacher came over and separated the two, Steve had got some hits on Ember even being on the floor, but Ember was just better
