After barely escaping from the grasps of Sentinel Service, each and every one of the mutants/humans were in a state of shock and confusion. "Dad" the cries of Lauren and Andy were the main sounds produced by the siblings.

"Is everyone alright?" Thunderbird exclaims with worry, taking a much more longing look towards the siblings, one that came with sympathy as they understood the children's feelings. "Where are we?" Andy says, much to his shock and confusion, they were no longer in the basement, safe away from the running and getting close to being captured. The denials and anguish cries from Andy, the mother, Caitlin, trying to calm the boy down while Lauren too, was in a state of shock and confusion.

"We need to go back."

"Just hang on! Hang on!"

"Hang on? My husband is in that warehouse. We can't just leave him there." Caitlin spoke out angrily. As much as Wyatt wanted to stay quiet from saying anything about the relentless cries and tries to get the family back together, he didn't find it all the more amusing when they continued to pressure and force the situation to turn into their favor when an injured mutant was in their hands. "As much as we would want to save your father, look at the circumstances we are all in. Thunderbird's right, we have to take care of Clarice. She's in no state to do what she just did and if you want to go on a suicide mission after the first one, be our guest." He huffs, staring at the Strucker family before shoving his way to help Clarice.

"What's the situation?"

The heavy stomps of Amber's boots can be heard as she walks into the surveillance room, a clipboard with all sorts of papers assorted neatly into it. "We have a new mutie in the dungeon." One of the younger security spoke up. He swiveled his chair to turn around and look at Amber. His silver streaks of hair slicked back perfectly, a childish smirk rested on his lips with a cocky eyebrow raise. "How is she? She seems quite beatable ain't it?"

Amber only looked at the younger with an eyebrow raise of her own, disinterested in his antics. "I wouldn't underestimate a green hair, or green person, whichever is preferable, of their skills or powers they possess." She spoke politely to him. "But, she does seem pretty for sure. That's a hooker right there."

She turns her head back to the wide tv screen showing the surveillance from every corner of the workplace she was in, in particular, a surveillance footage that showed a certain green haired mutant wearing an orange jumpsuit talking to another inmate. "How'd you get the surveillance from Garland?" She asks curiously, it wasn't a part of the Sentinels protocols to hack into surveillance. "I had an insider help me." With a slight hum, she nods, watching a bit more before walking out of the room wordlessly. She had a lot on her plate and knowing about a new captured mutant was the least of her worries. That's what she'd hope for, at least.

Wyatt was tending to Clarice who was sweating so much, using the damp towel, he gently put it on her forehead, patting and gently wiping and removing away the grime and dirt on her face as well. "How is she?" A voice that made him turn his head, only to find Caitlin, which relaxed him a bit. "She's fine, sweating but mostly fine." He answered back. He focuses back on Clarice, as he puts down the towel in the basin, a sharp intake of breath was made by the women.

"Clarice!" He calls out, putting aside the basin quickly to avoid spillage and holds onto her shoulders. "Hey! Hey, it's alright. You're back here at the mutant underground." He reassures but the reassurance didn't really help as her eyes were wildly lurking around the room, her pupils turning into purple, indicating her usage of powers, her breathing was picking up and she was breathing in an erratic way. "I'm gonna call someone." A new voice said, he completely forgot there were other people in this room, using and worrying about the same women who saved them from harm's way.

The only people in the room with him were Andy and Caitlin, though Caitlin was shielding Andy as the energy from her powers were starting to take effect. Wyatt only kept calm, being a mutant himself, he was able to absorb and shield himself. The sounds of urgent footsteps running to the room, Wyatt turned to where the sound came from and found Thunderbird, Dreamer and Lauren standing by the door. "She's in respiratory distress, and her temperature is spiking." Caitlin explained, Wyatt raises an eyebrow, wondering how did she know all that stuff from first glance, which in no time, his mental question was answered just as it came to thought. "I'm a nurse, she needs help."

The loud disagreements and the fighting didn't really make Wyatt comfortable, added that Caitlin soured his mood further with Clarice having higher chances of dying from going into shock, which explains why her abilities had been affecting the Mutant Underground. As she continues to be in shock, her abilities further worsened by opening up a portal, what was seen is a unsuspecting speeding car heading straight for them which Wyatt took cover quickly. Thankfully the car was no longer in sight as the portal closed just as it opened, only leaving one of them injured.

Just as they thought it was a one time occurrence, another portal opened, yet it was the same road which Lauren pointed out. There were bystanders and police murmuring and talking to one another, each with curious yet terrified glances of the opened portal. Thunderbird's suggestion of not picking a fight with humans was in vain as one man looked ready to fight them, but Lauren stepped up in bravery, using her bubble shields to close the portals.

Her face turned shocked, she didn't think her abilities of using the shield to be capable but she did. Wyatt, who had been watching it all go down silently, was proud but he had an itching fear that it was only the start of a big power struggle at some point, especially with Clarice being out of shape and uncontrollable with her powers.

Having that Caitlin needed to get the medicine needed for Clarice in an actual hospital, Eclipse volunteered to go, having that he asked Lauren, Caitlin's daughter, to do what she was doing before, which got a protest from the mother herself. "We have much more important things to do, like saving Clarice. You should at least trust your daughter, she might be of use, especially with an ability like that. If you're that scared enough, I'll protect your kids from behind." Wyatt spoke up, defending and reassuring the older. "Besides, I can do this."

He then snaps his fingers, which makes him invisible. "Wh- where did he go?" Andy spoke. "Here, kid." He held onto Andy's shoulders which caught him by surprise. That gave the man a small chuckle, which was rare enough. "Don't be surprised kid, it's just one of my magic tricks." He smirks lightly. "If we're done, get onto your rescue mission for Clarice, we'll handle it from here."
