Chapter 61

That person in front of her was Jeong Jaehyun.

Lisa did not expect to see him here. What a small world.

He looked the same as always full of quiet elegance and appearing polite and refined. Nothing seemed to have changed. When Lisa saw him, a wave of emotion somewhere between rue and lament suddenly surged within her.

After standing firm, Jaehyun pushed up his spectacles and looked at her.

She was unable to read the emotions in his eyes under the cover of his thick spectacle lens.

Lisa asked him, "Why did you suddenly come to ice skate?" And doing it so terribly, too.

"I heard you went back to ice skating", Jaehyun said.

Lisa was startled.

Jaehyun seemed a little embarrassed and said, "I was thinking, I want to understand it more".

Lisa looked at his face. After a long while, she replied with an "Oh".

Jaehyun did not dare to meet her doe eyes. His sight kept drifting towards the Ferris wheel.

Lisa glanced around and asked, "Alone?"

Before Lisa could finish speaking, Jaehyun suddenly saw a figure from afar skate towards them at a high speed, appearing in front of him in a blink of an eye. The abrupt appearance of the large, looming figure gave Jaehyun the gut feeling that they were about to collide, causing him to instinctively take a step back. With this little movement, his skates slipped and he was once again unable to stay upright. His body plummeted towards the ground.

When he braked, the blades scraped against the ice and stirred up a large smattering of ice fragments. Sitting on the ice, Jaehyun looked up just in time to see a swirl of fragments flew all over the place. Some tiny ice pieces landed on his face, cold and uncomfortable.

Before Jaehyun could fully react, something grabbed hold of his shoulder. With startlingly huge force, it smoothly hauled him up from the ice.

As a man, it was rare for him to be in such a vulnerable position.

"Sorry" That person patted his arm. "I didn't expect you to be so timid".

Jaehyun was a little annoyed. He raised his head and through his spectacles as well as the ice fragments on the lens he saw that the person was Jeon Jungkook.

"The two of you...." He deliberated.

Jungkook flashed a his bunny smile and said, "I've known her much earlier than she's known you".

Jaehyun looked towards Lisa.

Lisa felt that Jaehyun cut a sorry figure like a punching bag. She gestured at Jungkook and gestured at herself, and explained, "Primary school classmates".

"Lili, It's deskmates" Jungkook emphasized.

Lisa slanted her eyes towards Jungkook. "Weren't you unwilling tp be deskmates with me?"
