Walking on the lonely streets
I was looking for answers on the concrete
My hands tied in my pockets
The smoke flooding above my head
I glanced up to meet the warmth in your eyes
Just staring at them made something shine within mine
Your voice that echoes in my ears
The summer whisper that lull me to sleep
The comfort it gives me
Makes me forget when I was shivering
My tanned skin
The exact glow what I needed
The fresh air fills my lungs
Looking up, admiring the sky
I feel free to fly
Until I stroll past your side
