----Eddie's POV-----

Here we again, i cant catch two seconds of peace without someone starting thier crap

Billy - so you think you can start a fight with Oliver now

He says to me referring to last night, i look over at Y/N and she looks scared so i hold on her hand to give her resurance nothing is going to happen

Eddie - Really? Look Billy I'm sorry your life is so pathetic that you have start your shit everyday but do you really need to start it all because i punched Oliver a few times cause he hurt Y/N
Billy - my life isn't pathetic, I love my life (he says forgetting about everything else I just said)
Eddie - Yeah I'm sure you do, that's why you constantly love to bully your ex's new man, it's just a stunt to make yourself better, trust me ive been there before
Billy - shut up, you know nothing about me
Eddie - that's where you are wrong

He stands there in silence not knowing what to say, he gives Y/N a nod but she blanks him, and he walks away with his little gremlins following behind

Robin - are you okay? You literally spoke to Billy without ending it in a fight (she sounds surprised that i can actually do that)
Y/N - I know what's gotten into you (she smiles at me)
Eddie - Nothing I'm just trying to have a drama free day and spend it with my beautiful girlfriend and her best friend (I say putting my arm around Y/N)
Y/N - you are freaking me out (she laughs)
Eddie - and I'm totally chill about that (I kiss her check)
Y/N - you are a werido (she shakes her and laughs)
Eddie - yeah but you love me (I say teasing her)

Me, Y/N and Robin spent the rest of lunch just talking about the party, which I enjoyed seeing Y/N face light with joy, just as Robin was going to fill us in what happened with her and Vicki, thats when Y/N's phone goes off, Y/N's face goes blank as if she saw a ghost, she answers it and walk away from the table

Robin - Do you know what that was about?
Eddie - Nope not got a clue, Y/N hardly looks scared to pick the phone
Robin - what if a past lover confessing he still likes her (she taunts me)
Eddie - Yeah well he can try but he isnt taking Y/N away from me
Robin - (she tlits her head to the side) you really love her dont you?
Eddie - Yeah obviously (i say eating a few fries from my tray)
Robin - you don't have to answer but why did you treat her so badly at frist
Eddie - cause i got scared, I've always felt that a girl like her is way out my league and it scares me to know that maybe one day she will wake up and realise that
Robin - Trust me Eddie, when I say this know that I'm not just pulling your leg, She is head over heels in love with you, even with all the bad parts, she would still choose you over everyone

She smiles and i smile back at her, just as I was about to say something that's when Y/N arrives back looking more shocked than ever, i dont even ask her what is wrong and she is already cuddling into me like her life depends on it, i look over at Robin that is just as confused as me

Y/N - That's was my mum (I look at her)
Eddie - oh no, whats happened? (she sits down next to me)
Y/N - my mum is getting married and moving to Hawkins (she says that staring blankly at the table)
Robin - is that a good or bad thing?
Y/N - bad, very bad, i know the minute she is here, she is going to control my life like she always does
Eddie - Hey, it's okay, you have me, Robin and Steve all your corner, we four will tackle everything with you, okay?
Y/N - that's not the worst part, i know what family she is marrying me into
Eddie - And who's that? (I asked concerned)
Y/N - Carver, Andrew Carver
Robin - Woah what? As in...
Eddie - Jasons dad (I say finishing Robins sentence)
